As promised to a few folks in chat a few days ago, it is time once again to update my blog. So far the year has been an interesting one. First, I will start with what occurred a few days ago (from what some of you might have caught from my status message). Last Thursday (02/19/2010), as some of you might know I unknowingly witnessed my front neighbor
Hey Guys and Gals,
Its been a while since my last blog. So what has happened since then? Well a semester ended and new one started. This semester I have classes everyday day (Meaning Mon-Fri). My longest class in on friday (Physics II Lab). I choose it because my lap partners from PL I decided to have the class at the same time and day as last semester. Plus i get some eye-candy to stare at (that does not mean thats all i do during the lab).
So far we have given away two pups already.
Isis has given birth to a litter of 9 pups. I will be posting a picture of them soon.
Addendum: Make that a litter of 11 pups.
Addendum #2: Make that a litter of 12 pups.
As promised Isis and her 12 offspring:
Next week Fall Term begins, it brings me a (forced) decision to change my major since the school needed to phase out (CUT) programs for budget reasons. (i.e., we got screwed over by the Tallahassee and Board of Trustees). Only good thing I already found a program (B.A. in Liberal Studies) to take its place that would allow me to take classes that are pre-requisites for DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) Degree.
Onto other things, Tropical Storm Fay. It passed, dumped lots of rain, and threw s
Bloody Colds. I hate being sick, damn thing caught me should have listened to warning signs but no. So, I woke up last Sunday with a very dry throat, which told me i was going to be sick by the next day (which happened). Now, I'm just getting over it. Other than that nothing new in my life.
My uncle "Who became a religious nut only because his wife left him" hasn't really done anything bad, only a few tirades which make me want to tape his mouth shut. They mostly start because one of my rent
There is a reason for the blog title, but that will have to wait.
So, it has been a busy week down here. On Wednesday (July 2, 2008), there was another accident at the construction site where my dad works at (Look at a previous blog for the earlier accident). It seems two workers were injured by lighting that struck a crane they were near by. When it struck my dad said all he could see was white and then heard the screams of the two guys that were injured. It seems that they were okay becaus
The religious nut of an Uncle (which he only became religious when his wife left him) is moving in with us (My f-ing dad decided that he was going to let his brother move in for a while, till he gets back on his two feet). Let me tell you one thing, if he tries to make us pray or keep talking about his god, I am so throwing a bug bomb into his room....multiple times.
Also, he better not bring any of those other religious nuts he prays with for those reunions or whatnot because yo
Well I've been procrastinating writing this blog, but here it is. First thing, I want to Congratulate my little brother (also another female cousin) on graduating high school. Congrats on somehow finishing HS on time . I really think the school district should announce to the public when they are holding their graduation ceremonies because the traffic backup it caused was bloody awful (Ceremonies were held at the Bank United Center and the only way to get there is to use the US1). Lets not even
Once again another update on my life. Lets see what has happened since my last blog. First of all, I finished another semester of college and I passed all classes like expected. When the grades were being added up, I learned that in my Bio 2 class I could have gotten an A in course if I had done an extra credit assignment that the professors offered (We had two different professors instruct our course). But I didn't do it because work from the chemistry class took much of my time. Oh well, what
I am once again sick. The reason? Well i blame two things, one being the stupid weather that keeps changing from hot to cold and from cold to hot again. The other thing that i blame is my uncle (and his fam) that came from Virginia, got sick on the first day he came here and passed it on to the rest of us. And of course i am the unlucky one that had to get sick for the longest.
The bad thing about me being sick: I have zero patience for anyone. My f-ing joints ache, I feel hot one moment and
It seems that the crane that fell today in Miami was at the construction site where my Dad and so called half-brother work at.
>Link to story:Two dead, four injured in crane collapse
I only learned about what happened when he (my dad) picked my up from the metro-rail (I was coming back from the uni). He told me that they (workers) were just getting ready to get back to work from Lunch Break when the heard the crane creak and tumbling down to the office housing units below. My dad tol
Finally a week of pure rest. Actually, I'm probably going to be studying and doing some quizzes I need to finish before the Break ends. Nothing really new occurring in my life. Just the same old stuff.
Ooh...Interesting note, The hot neighbor i was talking to you guys about a few weeks ago in one of my blogs, well guess what guys, it turns out he is gay after all. It seems he and his wife (looks like he was married) are getting divorced because he is "running away" with a guy.
So yeah th
For about two months now, I have been without my life-line (AKA my laptop). A day or two before New Years my laptop died on me, sure the lights lit up but no booting occured. So, I had to ship off my laptop to HP repair service. They shipped it back to me about two weeks later, but alas the laptop was still not booting, and again it was shipped back to HP repair srevice. They kept it for weeks, telling me they would have it before the end of the month (January) but alas it seems they were missin
Isis has finally began to act like her old self (before the virus hit her; meaning running when my mum, dad, and little bro come home; Barking; And trying to bite my hands, hehe ). Her appetite has finally return. I know most people say not to give dogs the wet kind of food, but she has yet to eat her kibbles alone so we have to mix that with her kibble (we gave her some baby food at first and then some turkey slices).Later on, we will reduce the amount we give, until she finally eats her norma
We took Isis today to the vet. They gave her Cefazolin, Cerenia, and IV fluids (Parvovirus has started to show itself in her). They told us that we also have to keep giving her Tamiflu and to no longer have to give her Panacur.
We actually were going to have her euthanized (After they told my mum that she had a 50-50 chance of surviving) because we did not have enough money to keep her hospitalized and also to stop her suffering, but at the last minute we made a deal with the vet and vet t
The pup known as "Trouble" has died. On Sunday, Trouble started acted different from his normal routine, meaning he slept most of the day and started to eat less. On Monday, he no longer wanted to eat and layed in his cage (den) all day. Today we took him to the vet and found out he had early signs of Parvovirus. He was given antibiotics and IV liquid to rehydrate him.
Unfortunately, this did not help him. It seems he finally he gave in. My mum and I checked up on him a few mins ago and fou
FYI this was suppose to be a blog about welcoming people back to GA, and a comments on the pics GA members took on the SF meeting. In addition, this blog was also suppose to give a small update on my life so far, and also to provide a small excuse, why I haven
Hello Ladies and Gentleman,
Its time once again for another installment on the happening in my life. (I was going to post this weeks ago, but school work got piled up on me). So far nothing big has happen to me (although i have now added another check to the list of how close my family and extended relatives are to a soap opera/telenovela). The only bad thing that occurred to me was last night, when i suddenly woke up at 5:30am with extreme heart burn. And, I so mean extreme, where it liter
Its been a long since my last blog entry. Time for an update on my life (for those that care, hehe). First thing, I have yet to get a f-ing job, seems the position which I applied for in the hospital was non-existent (seems they made a computer error and it added them to the board), so they told me to apply for another position. I would have gotten a job on the spot (some clerical position) if I took a typing test. (But I didn't do it because I knew I don't have enough skill to
Hello Children of the Corn,
You know, I can never start these blogs out right. Takes me minutes to get my hook and sinker right.
So what to talk about, well currently im waiting for the hospital people to call me back (I had to go in person to complete an application bc it seems the so called online job application thing really doesn
So officially i finished my first semester of last Friday. Now, all I'm waiting for is for my gardes to be posted online (hope i passed all my classes). I'm also waiting to see if the hospital calls me about the job i applied to. (Crosses finger)
Anyways, I haven't been sleeping that good the past few days. The reason you ask? Well it seems on Saturday Night someone tried to break into my room. My rents, who were at home, didn't hear anything. The only way i found out was, when i started to
