March CSR Discussion Day: Running Far Afield by Libby Drew

This month's CSR author was Libby Drew, an author who has been a Signature Author on GA for a very long time, sharing her work with readers here for our enjoyment. Did you like reading Running Far Afield? Share your thoughts below! But first... the interview! Are you a person who makes their bed in the morning, or do you not see much point? I make the bed strictly so the dogs won’t get their muddy paws on my clean sheets. If I’m in a hurry, I just throw a blanket over the whole thing a

March CSR Feature: Running Far Afield by Libby Drew

This month is the beginning of the spring Sports season at high school (ask me how I know, track mom here!). How many of you remember playing sports in high school? Man, I was a disaster in softball, hence my my kids did/do track, lol! So I thought I'd share a story to bring back the nostalgia of the season for myself, and others, with Libby Drew's story Running Far Afield.  Running Far Afield by @Libby Drew Length: 15,560 Description: Aaron thought nothing would be different

February CSR Discussion Day: The Weakest Link: Teenage Triumphs Edition by AusGlitterati

Did you catch this month's CSR Feature by @AusGlitterati? The Weakest Link: Teenage Triumphs Edition & the follow-up story are both available for you to enjoy, if you haven't already, but make sure you read this interview first.  Chocolate or Vanilla? Vanilla all the way! I always have to wonder why vanilla gets a bad rep as the boring or basic flavour. Vanilla is actually lit, and it deserves more respect on its name - chocolate is the basic flavour. That's the hill I will die on. 😁

February CSR Feature: The Weakest Link: Teenage Triumphs Edition by AusGlitterati

For February, I often feature stories of love and romance... but we can all read those on our own time! Instead I wanted to feature a story that brings all sorts of people, personalities, and fun together for this leap month! And if you love it, there's a follow-up of sorts too.  The Weakest Link: Teenage Triumphs Edition by @AusGlitterati Length: 34,886 Description: In 2012, nine gifted teenagers arrive seek to win up to fifty thousand pounds for themselves and for charity b

December CSR Discussion Day: Mr & Mister Danvers: Initiation by LJCC

First, to all who celebrate, Merry Christmas!! Second, did you get a chance to read this month's CSR? I figure anyone who isn't celebrating, or who needs a break from celebrating, could definitely enjoy LJCC's story Mr & Mister Danvers: Initiation. Make sure you leave a comment below, but first... enjoy this interview!  Do you eat your fruits and vegetables? Yes, fruits and vegetables are essential to life. Plus I’m in my late 30s now, if I don’t eat my fruits and veggies, my docto

December CSR Feature: Mr & Mister Danvers: Initiation by LJCC

Welcome to our last CSR feature of 2023! 10 years of features needed something dramatic with flair, and what is more dramatic than a spy thriller? So you can put down your holiday nog (or grab it if you need some spirits and enjoy them together!) and focus on this story for a fun journey of twists & turns you'll never expect.  Mr & Mister Danvers: Initiation by @LJCC Length: 59,674 Description: Greg Danvers, a former London police sergeant now a part-time waiter, ten

November CSR Discussion Day: When Opportunity Knocks by kbois

This month's feature was a mix of so many characters, pets, and details that you needed a LONG month and a bit of a holiday to finish it all. I hope you enjoyed kbois' story, When Opportunity Knocks! Make sure you add your comments below, but first, you get to enjoy this interview.  I say, I say… who does it better, the chicken or the chicken hawk? Well, the chicken hawk has better eyesight, but chicken tastes better, and there are so many ways to cook it, so I’d have to go with the c

November CSR Feature: When Opportunity Knocks by kbois

I wanted to feature a story by kbois this month, and while this story is on the longer side for a CSR pick, I liked that it aligned with that oft-featured holiday month issue... unexpected family dynamics and all the bumps that indicates! So, please enjoy this month's story by @kbois and come back at the end of the month ready to share your thoughts! When Opportunity Knocks by kbois Length: 96,473 Description:  Jett Anderson and Kyle Benton are starting to build a relationshi

CSR Discussion Day: Miles to Go by Comicality

Can you believe tomorrow is Halloween? It's true! In honor of the spooky season, I picked a story that also dipped into the paranormal and featured an author that has a variety of stories in the genre if that's your thing! I hope you enjoyed Miles to Go this month, now enjoy this interview I sent to @Comicality before you share your comments below.  Who was the real villain, ACME or Wile E. Coyote? Hehehe, Wile E. Coyote! All the way! They sold it...but YOU bought it, dude. Repeatedly,

October CSR Feature: Miles to Go by Comicality

So October means the real start to fall and, as I sit here in my I Love Spooky sweatshirt, it's time to feature something for the Halloween season. ZOMBIES! September's CSR Feature: The Matchmaker by Arch Hunter

Well, being a 'back to school' month in the U.S. and elsewhere I went with a teen fiction because it's all about the school drama this time of year for so many teens and adults in the world. Who doesn't want to escape their own reality to visit someone else's?  The Matchmaker by @Arch Hunter Length: 31,066 Description: Kevin is an insecure teen boy on a journey to find the love of his life.  There's Kevin's best friend, Torry and his brother Dexter. There's also Sarah, t

CSR Discussion Day: The Matchmaker by Arch Hunter

Did you read the twisty teen tale by The MatchMaker by Arch Hunter? What did you think of the ending? Not what you expected? LOL! Well, make sure you share your thoughts about the story or his interview answers below!  Do you eat your fruits and vegetables? I'm all about veggies; fruits not so much. I think veggies are far superior - you can roast, fry, boil, steam them. You can eat them raw, most of them. Literally hundreds of culinary applications! Fruits aren't bad, but most are har

August CSR Discussion Day-Soul Music: Love Encountered by northie

Wow, I can't believe it's the end of August already! Back to school (for me) and time for you all to get to enjoy this interview with northie, hopefully after you've already enjoyed Soul Music: Love Encountered. Did you know there's a sequel too? Make sure you leave your comments below, but first... northie took the time to answer these questions.  Do you eat your fruits and vegetables? Vegetables - absolutely. I enjoy eating vegetarian and sometimes, vegan dishes. Fruit? Not so much.

August CSR Feature: Soul Music: Love Encountered by northie

Summer is still going hot in the north, so why not feature a heated love story by northie?  Plus, I'm always a sucker when one of the characters is described as shy.  Soul Music: Love Encountered by @northie Length: 57,168 Description: Geoff is shy, lacking in self-assurance, and not out to his family. When by chance, he meets Tony, a fellow musician, he can't believe that anything will come of it ...  A Reader said: Just finished reading and I have to say I love this st

June CSR Discussion Day: Geeks by CassieQ

Delayed a bit, but worth the wait! I laughed out loud a few times, gasped at least once (too many books, no such thing!) and thoroughly enjoyed both CassieQ's story Geeks and her interview answers. Please make sure you leave your comments below for her to share your thoughts too! Who was the real villain, ACME or Wile E. Coyote?  ACME.  Coyote is just trying to eat.  ACME looks like they supply terrorists. If you were an animal, what would you be?  Probably a cat.  I excel

June CSR Feature: Geeks by CassieQ

Light-hearted, love is just the right mix for the Pride month CSR, and I wanted to feature one of our long-term Signature authors on GA too! What better mix of the two than Geeks by CassieQ!  Geeks by @CassieQ Length: 69,166 Description: A shy Star Wars geek love falls in love with an outgoing anime geek. As friends, family and old flames get in the way, will the two find a way to make it work? A Reader Said: Such a cute story, mikeal is beyond adorable and adam is such

May CSR Discussion Day: Dejection and Hope by Demiurge

Did you read Demiurge's story, Dejection and Hope that was featured for this month's CSR? What did you think? Or you can share your thoughts on Demiurge's responses to my interview questions as I dared to let us all get to know them!! 🫣 Well, first (From Demi): Chocolate or Vanilla? Neither. What’s something personal about you people might be surprised to know? I’m an emergency dispatcher. What something you like to do when you’re not writing? I really en

May CSR Feature: Dejection and Hope by Demiurge

Well May's a nice, loooong month, so you get a nice looong story. Let's see if you can get past the urge to just keep reading. I know I started to check which story I wanted to feature, and once I read chapter one, before I knew it I was on chapter ten... so I knew this was it!  Dejection and Hope by @Demiurge Length: 129,052 Description: All Seth wanted was ramen. A small, androgynous, blond was not on his shopping list. Nor was an outspoken new friend and therapy. He’d obvi

April CSR Discussion Day: A Love to Last by vanalas

April showers bring... May showers, at least where I live! How about you? If you've been stuck indoors, maybe you checked out this month's looong featured CSR story, A Love to Last? Or it'll be this week's evening entertainment of choice after this interview with the author, vanalas! (Or maybe you might pick another of vanalas' stories!) April CSR Feature: A Love to Last by Vanalas

For me, April feels like it stretches on forever. So I picked a slightly longer story, and the title matches that feeling. Enjoy this month's selection and don't forget to come back and share your thoughts on the discussion day!  A Love to Last @vanalas Length: 120,112  Description: Ben and Jim are half-brothers and sons of self-made billionaire Jerome Henandez. March CSR Discussion Day: This Strange World Needs a Kicking by Laura S. Fox

Okay, even if you're not a fan of anime or Freaky Friday, or if you're new to Laura S. Fox's writing... I hope you took a chance and read this month's featured selection! It was fun, right? Share your thoughts in the comments below, but first! Of course, she did an interview for me.   Chocolate or Vanilla? What’s vanilla? Death by chocolate all the way. March CSR Feature: This Strange World Needs a Kicking by Laura S. Fox

March is a month for magic... of a sort. C'mon, any month where there's a holiday that features gold at the end of a rainbow has to be magic, right?! And this story has magic... of a sort. It certainly made me laugh, and I could use some of that. What about you? It's way longer than normal, but it's a recent-ish finish in the last year and it does tend to suck you right in. I hope you will enjoy Laura's story and come back to share your thoughts at the end of the month!  This Strange World

February CSR Discussion Day: Crisscross Moon by Rich Eisbrouch

Did you ever think you so strongly did something, you didn't even worry about it? Well, I've been doing the CSR blogs for over 10 years (Yes, I checked, they started in Jan. 2013!) and was sure I'd sent Rich his interview for Crisscross Moon. I did not. Sorry again, Rich!! If he gets his (very late) interview back to me, I'll add it here, but for now I wanted to feature the thoughts of some readers who enjoyed his story so you can also share yours below! Plus a graphic because that's also what I

February CSR Feature: CrissCross Moon by RichEisbrouch

I know I often theme stories based on the month, and February is love, love, love, and romance, romance, romance. Sorry, folks, life is just too crazy for me right now. (Don't worry, those who know my hubby from the past--*snorts* that was an adventure of a membership--he's still very much my hubby) But I wanted to go for something a little more... more. Now, there's still romance in the sub-genres, but also adventure, comedy modern, and light mystery!  Crisscross Moon by @RichEisbrouc
