I'd like to reply to all of you who gave me advice and messaged me on my last entry, but things have been crazy and I'd feel like an idiot replying so late in the game. Still, I'd like to thank you all very much! It means a lot to me. Here's what happened in the wake of my last entry:
My brother agreed to report to the police, and we've been busy with legalities the last few weeks, so that's why I haven't been on so much. The names of underage assault victims apparently aren't published, so
First of all, hi everyone! Long time no see. Junior year was quite tough, but now it's summer and I can hang out here again.
On a not quite so cheery a note, I have a bad situation on my hands. Today, my twin brother came home from school and dumped all of his textbooks on the ground. My mom tried to organize them and opened a book that looked like an interesting French novel, but it was actually his diary that was disguised as one. She didn't mean to snoop, but on the page she turned to he wa
Sorry, guys. This is the only place I can rant without someone I know in real life tracking me down and harassing me about it. Copious amounts of BAWWWWWWWW ahead.
But first, good news. I got published in a national teen lit magazine. I know I'm plugging myself shamelessly here, but I'd truly appreciate critiques and votes: http://www.teenink.com/poetry/free_verse/article/260818/Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane/ It's just that I could be selected for a writing camp that offers scholarships, whi
All right, so maybe it isn't that vapid. I don't have anything in particular to rant about, except this morning my mom was cleaning her glasses in the car and nearly crashed it. When I screamed in fear, she shoved them in my face and told me to wipe them off, spit on 'em and all. I was like, "Are you f**king serious, woman?" but she made me... and now my dress is ruined with mom spittle. FML. That woman needs to learn some tact.
But that's just a little pimple on the ass that is my life, isn't
...Is coming to my school to protest the seniors' graduation.
Well, the bricks-and-mortar version of it, anyway. It all started when some kid published an article in the paper about how he respected their rights as US citizens, but couldn't condone them for protesting military funerals and bashing homosexuals. The article in itself was very well-written and fair to all sides of the argument, but the WBC still got all butthurt over it, and now they're threatening to come over and confirm their i
Okay, this post more likely than not contains anti-theistic themes. Please don't feel offended if I say something that comes off strong. I do respect religion collectively, just not some of the elements that come with it. This is also going to be more of a rant than a tribute to the victims of Japan, so pardon my selfishness! So, here I am. It's 9:52 PM Mountain Time and I'm trying to finish this report for French. Three-and-a-half pages of pure dryness.
In a foreign language.
Except I don't
Well, it hasn't even been a day since I joined this website, and already I'm in yo' blogs, writing yo' entries. 'Cuz I be spammin' ERRRRRRYBODY. Now, as a naive, unassuming newb who could've chosen to write about anything, it might come off as a little unusual that I'm not starting off with something cheery, but this is something that's been on my mind for a long time, something that's been kind of cloying at my faith in mankind.
It's been a bit since the attempted assassination of Represen
