Haha. Nah it wasn't too bad. We were watching Creature from the Black Lagoon (the original) and it just sort of came up.

Actually I'm rather looking forward to Valentine's day this year. I'm going to flout it! I'm going to buy myself something nice, get as dressed up as possible, and take a little road trip to a nearby city. Once there I can then do a little shopping in stores I've never been in (always something I enjoy), dine at a nice restaurant I've never eaten in (also fun), and then hit a gay club or two where, with any luck, I'll get hit on by/hit on people I've never seen. It should be "a laugh and a half"

Anyway I hope your own day goes well. Don't let it get you down, in the end it's just another day created/popularized by corporate America and the media for their own selfish gains. It only has true significance if it has a special reason to you to have significance; if not it's just February 14th.
