So lately I have been asked how old I am.

 

I don't understand why it is frequently coming up and I am fine with my age. Really.

 

So the issue has been people don't believe me when I tell them I am 32.

 

When I joined the Y they didn't believe me and I had to show my license. I told them who would lie and make themselves 32 to be older? Maybe I would put myself in the 20's bracket but definitely not 30's,

 

This has becoming increasingly annoying. So now when people ask I think I should lie and make myself younger.

I know but it really annoying. I draw the line when they tell me license looks fake. I can't help that Iowa's license aren't a hard plastic.

I know that.....but if you were in your teen's or twenties... would you make yourself in your thirties?

I've always looked much younger than my age, too.  It used to annoy me when I was in my mid-twenties and people thought I was still in high school.  The only time I got seriously pissed was when I was 26 and a sales clerk refused to sell me a freaking lottery ticket.  I didn't have my license with me to prove my age.
