Yahoo Disses GayAuthors

blog-0030985001425308107.pngYahoo disrespects gayauthors. The picture above speaks for itself. I complained to my little search engine provider, DuckDuckGo, which gets its feed from Yahoo & Bing, but have not heard anything back. I may have to stop using DDG, because there are too many sites I just can't find. How about coughing up exact url matches, Yahoo?

No such problems with Google.

:P This could just as easily be a swipe against their main competitive rival Google; GA does utilize GoogleAds.

Yahoo cuts off a hand that feeds Google? Yeah, I can imagine Yahoo doing just that. Reminds me of why I stopped using Yahoo. Too much in the way of smoke and mirrors.

Spiting a competitive rival isn't exactly a rare, unheard of thing - you'd be surprised at how often it happens in general. That's assuming that this is in fact what's happening here, rather than DuckDuckGo simply being a poor search engine... :P

A user will stop using Yahoo if he can't find the site he is looking for. After all, why not switch to Google, like everyone else? I'm not sure I buy the spiting-rivals theory. I think gayauthors.org is blocking Yahoo or else is not properly SEO'd.
