We have made a minor bug fixing Stories software patch.  It corrected a number of minor issues.

If you spot any bugs, please provide a link to the area you saw them (Where possible) and explain the issue you encountered.

Hi. When in "Stories" quick search I tried to search for author 'Mark Arbour' with no luck.

There is no quick search under the category "Authors".

The stories index is now completely useless. I had gone back to the first stories posted, which are on page 975, and was making my way page by page towards page 1 reading the completed stories. I was enjoying reading the older stories and enjoying the journey by seeing how the stories and content has been improving over the years and being able to read a story series in the order that it was posted. I'd got to page 742 reading stories posted in 2011 but now it doesn't matter how I try I can't continue reading in reverse chronological order as no matter what link I try I end up at the start of the story index on page 1 of 325! It appears that the stories index and stories search is totally inoperable. 🤔

Stories quick Search is for Story Titles.  So this is working as intended.

I can see how you might be confused, as the Red Menu "Authors" link previously brought you to the About Authors page which describes are various author groups.  There is a hnday YouTube video that shows how to use the two quick search features:

This is obnoxious hyperbole and it helps no one.  Do not do it again.

This is incorrect.

When you go to the Stories main page, which linked as "Stories" in the red menu, page only shows 5 stories.  The pagination on that page is confusing as it shows currently 925 pages.  This is based on 5 stories per page.  As soon as you select a different page, it jumps the display from 5 to 15 stories per page.  And thus the total page count drops from 925 to 325.  Going backwards, there would be no display issues.  So where you left off is probably around page 261.

There is a bug in that going from page 1 to page 2, it skips 10 stories.  Going back to page 1 shows them all.  That is a bug.

What I described is true and has now changed, that is what I was informing you about. When I clicked the link (the one after the last page number shown) to go the end of the listing the stories now start at those posted in 2016 which meant that I could not get to the stories posted prior to that.

I'll not comment further as it's obvious to me that my earlier comment was not understood or wanted.

I noticed some of the chapters (no 4, 6, 11, 12, 16) in a story by David McLeod now has double line space. I think this happened after the editor software change. Should I send a message to the author, so he can edit if he wants (he hasn't been on site since last year), or do you want this kind of info here ?

Maybe I should stick a @Myr in here ?

I know I've asked this before, but I've done a bit of testing. When we edit our comments in stories  and posts in forums, GA blogs, and club topics, we have the option to write something in the Reason for edit box. I think it also used to be in status updates, but no longer, which makes sense, because you couldn't see what you wrote.
      My test shows:
If you write in the Reason for edit box in Forums (including Chat) and in Clubs you can see the content.
Anything written in the Reason for edit box in GA blogs or in comments in stories isn't visible.

Is this an ongoing bug or a feature we have to live with ? The main reason I'm asking is that I like the Reason for edit box and the funny things people write.
So   for adding it in the big update, and I hope we'll get to use it in more places.

It amazes me sometimes how clueless people can be... the utterly ridiculous and stupid things people do. We’ve had America’s Funniest Videos, Stupidest Criminals, and people giving their kids a hit on a joint on YouTube.
I came across this special guy this morning. An FBI agent in Denver accidentally shot someone in a club... How?? Good question! Dumbass did a backflip and gun fell out of holster. *SMH* .

I thought we could amuse ourselves with the ridiculous and moronic. Please share your favorite moments. Link to story:  https://www-m.cnn.com/2018/06/03/us/dancing-fbi-agent-gun-discharge/index.html

How do I leave a review on a chapter?
Reviews on chapters are now called comments.
Scroll to the bottom of a chapter to the 'User Feedback' area. Click in the text editor box that says, "Add Comment".  Leave a thought, review, compliment, criticism (keep it polite, please) about the chapter. In the text editor you can use the mention feature @membername or the quote feature to address other readers' or the author's comments as well as leave your own. Click 'Add Comment'
How do I leave a review on a story?
Follow the same process as above*

*Reviews can only be left on completed stories.

This may sound petty. However; a few issues related to it.
Can the ability to edit status updates be brought back. As a blind individual, typing mistakes happen. No matter how much proofreading is done. For sighted people I’ve seen multiple deletions. Which leads to multiple posts in notifications not found, with error code. Like needle in haystack. Before you say, Yes I can do status list from forum page. Thank you! ☺️
