 You should get a tetanus shot once every ten years.

Tetanus is also referred to as "Lockjaw".

Often called Lockjaw because it frequently begins in the jaw and muscle spasms can be so severe as to fracture bones.

Before a treatment was devised, Tetanus was a dreaded disease which was almost always fatal. The vaccine stings, but it's much better than the alternative.

I know there is things to be said about digitizing our medical system, but in the fall when a doctor was considering give me a tetanus shot since I don't keep track of them and who remembers 10 years, he looked it up and found the last one was 6 years ago. We both agreed that there was no need for one :yes:
