Our Ranking on Google has gotten really good.

If you search for "Gay Authors" we are number 1. (Not as obvious as you'd think. We've been number 2 for quite awhile).

We are also about 4 down on the "Gay Stories" search.

 

So... pretty cool!

And if you search for 'gay stories' we're fifth on the list, which isn't bad either considering.

 

I noticed though that in the search for 'gay authors' nifty doesn't even get mentioned on page one! Although that's a bit strange I must say. In fact it's not even in pages two or three...

 

There again, if I search for 'crackerwriter' I get about three hundred odd pages to myself!!!

Sorry, I think you missed my point. Agreed Nifty is No.1 for Gay Stories, but it doesn't get a mention if you search 'gay authors'.

 

Now that's more strange.

 

Maybe time for a few more tags to get us to No2, right after Nifty eh? lol

Nice to see we're climbing the 'online ladder'

Something you don't see, that I do, is who some of the guests are. Some of the guests on the board are MSN Bot, Inktomi (Yahoo), and GoogleBot. These are the automatic web "spiders" that add our topics to the search indexes.

 

The fact is, at least one is always on the site. That's a sign that we're busy and have a lot of incoming links.
