a lonely wolf

waiting to joining a pack

lost in the forest of doubt

who will guide him ?

sniffing the scent

ever searching

a solace of peace

finding his family

dripping wet

the rain of sorrow soaking him

it is slowly ending

rays of hope piercing clouds

the search might be ending soon

family he will find at some point

will he be accepted ?

time will tell

howling in hope to be heard

sending a call

he hears a faint reply

the hunt begins

Hey, I like this one :) . I would suggest tightening up some of the lines to get a more 'haiku' effect, for e.g.: "dripping wet / the rain of sorrow soaking him" has the idea of water and rain done three times, which might be once too many. The juxtaposition of finding a family with a hunt is very interesting, and quite unexpected. I like it though. Not everyone who wants a family and meaningful connections is a bunny rabbit. I like the pride and self sufficiency that's captured by the idea of the wolf.

thanks for the input one thing I should say though is that when I write.. i do mainly one draft and just post it without making touch-up. it better reflects what I feel, I think...

Glad you liked it
