ricky Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I'm desperately ill now. I told you not to eat the gulf seafood yet. Dang, I hope you're feeling better quick. moi aussi....... my dr is refusing to take my calls........ That is NEVER a good sign. But don't panic until he wants his bill paid in advance and in cash only.

But don't panic until he wants his bill paid in advance and in cash only. it's ok here in australia we have "socialised medicine" so the bill is not the problem... on the other hand his inability to treat my lack-of-grainger symptoms is proving troublesome...... only one person can do that...... and he knows who he is...... <sigh>
Mark Arbour Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I posted this in my yahoo group, in response to Bob's post about Millennium, which he posted here as well (in the Millennium thread. I'm really flattered that you guys enjoy George so much. I do too. I started writing Millennium this summer (on vacation), and to do that I've had to immerse myself in it. For some reason, I'm finding it hard to switch from Brad's point of view to George's world and back again. I've said before that of all the characters I've written, Brad is the most like me. I think that's part of the problem. I think that makes it even harder for me, because I have to not just put Brad aside, but I have to push part of myself into the background too. I'm trying to finish up Millennium, but I want to do it right. It's taking more thought and planning than I anticipated. I think once that's done, I can time travel back and help George enjoy his time in Gibraltar.
Tiger Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 I'm really liking Millennium. Still, I really do miss George and his adventures. George is my second favorite character of yours behind Stefan.

And you've been sentenced to HMS writers block until your term is paid. I hate when that happens. Will Millennium be the end of CAP or is there another one planned? I was really thinking you were more like George but that goes to show how well I am able to judge an online persona. lol Maybe I was just hoping. (Dirty old man that I tend to be.) Too bad I gave up on Millennium. I'll have to go back and scan and see if I can find out who was the leak. It was a carry over from the previous segment but for me the only part worth saving. (And I understand that is me not you.) You're still a fantastic writer. One of the best I've ever read. The story just went a direction that offended my senses. I can't identify with infidelity. Period. Never could. Whether written or lived. I guess that when I love, I love so completely that infidelity is not even a consideration. I'll gladly wait for Granger's salt to once again call you back to the sea. Thanks for explaining it to us. It makes the waiting more bearable. Ricky
Tiger Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 Once again, my symptoms have returned. Is anyone else suffering?
Mark Arbour Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 George Granger is currently in editing. He should be out within the next week, I'm hoping.
ricky Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 George Granger is currently in editing. He should be out within the next week, I'm hoping. "WEEEK?" I think Granger's last name should be Millineum. Then we'd see more chapters. "Sniff, Sniff, whine, whine." What, we're on a 3 to 1 ratio now? (Pouting continues)
