I heard from gaygamer.net that Guitar Hero was on hiatus from Activision. I had fun with it in College like most college kids in the mid-2000's. Sad, I will miss playin Blink-182, Three Days Grace, and other fun songs. I hope they develop an automatic upload software for consoles for new songs.

Guitar Hero Metallica was pointless yet amazing... but I still love GH3 and GH:WT.

 

I don't like Rock Band's interface

I'm gutter. My son had GH 5 for Xmas and we haven't kicked the addiction yet. I can't stand the thought that we won't get another fix

I have almost all the Guitar Heros and Rock Bands. I like Rock Band better, actually.

Edit: And I suspect the problem is Guitar Hero just couldn't compete against Rock Band, if only because it was too expensive to develop new peripherals to match the new Rock Band ones.
