I will post this tomorrow in timmy's poetry .. but here for today:

And the piano plays a tune I don’t recognize

The melancholy oboe sings, touching my soul

With its thick yet tranquil loneliness

Notes from the violin flowed, soothing

Transcending, lush

All of these remind me of you

You —one I love, have so for long

Who I take for granted, but should not

And I’m sorry if poems I write are not always for you

But know, it’s you who are with me, part of me

Who I run to, want and love and cherish

The one from my garden of people, I would pick.

That is wonderful, tim. I think, this person will feel honored. :):):)

...from my garden of people...that's a fantastic thought, a brilliant metaphor. How could anyone not love this poem?

This is one of my favorite times in the year, for my daily routine lets me greet the sun...

Daybreak's ragged clouds,
wind-ripped like tissue paper,
reveal the new day.

Wonderful, Parker!

What a perfect description.  There have been some fantastic skies lately, haven't there?  Very nicely done :)

Don't you hate one-sided arguments.

Temerity sounds

More ominous that thunder

In a slamming door.

(and my headache doesn't help)

headache again????

It's an interesting day in Vegas today. All pot legal, there's a pot enthusiast festival. Here's just a silly Haiku!

People are tokin
Thermometers are rising
In the city of sin

Cute Haiku....cough, cough.... And thanks for the update. I'll be writing about the fair city shortly for Mojo.
