Not that I recall.  If my parents ever took me in anywhere in a sleigh, I was too young to remember.  I have been on hayrides, in wagons and trucks.

I've been really close to one, less than 1/2 a mile. Funny thing is it happened in Maryland right after I moved back from Iowa.

I have been close, but not in, a tornado. 
I have been in Kansas several times, visiting friends (both liberal and conservative)

Never Have I Ever been in California (except in rare imagination).

I like a few types of mushrooms.  However, I am not aware of any company which grows morel mushrooms commercially, and no longer have a farm on which to look for wild ones,

I have, once.  A small pizza place, not part of a chain, in a distant town.  I have never seen that recipe before or since.  When I got back over that way, the place was out of business.
