I took on the idea of fight back. Story is done. Lots of time for rewrites and expansion if needed. Just gotta find a beta and editor. Lol

Mine's going to be Good intentions. I know the outline, but haven't started writing it yet. As to it being a short antho entry? Somehow, I don't think so.  *sigh*

I've started something for Fight Back. My goal is to get it done on time and within the word limit.

I now have a working title and the opening line.

 

Title: One Little Snowflake

Line: All it takes is one spark to start a fire, or one little snowflake to land the right way to start an avalanche.

Yup, it's no more than 25,000 words. Last time I tried for an anthology piece, well... I kinda went long-winded and ended up posting it as a normal story. LOL

I believe my upper limit is usually around 18 ,000 so I'm safe.

@Parker Owens Anthos are a great place to try things out. As you know to your cost from my efforts. 

Explore unknown territory. See what happens.

Yes, I know I said in my blog that I was going to stop writing because I can't seem to stay away from the dark side, but, damn, it's hard to stop writing after you've been doing it for so long. So, I guess I've come up with a story that fits under Good Intentions. As per usual, it's not that long, coming in at just over 5,000 words; plus, it definitely doesn't get too close to the dark side.

That's great news. And you're right, it's very hard to quit what is so very much a part of you.

Fight Back is my choice and a short story's written. Off to beta reader and then the proof team.

 

I now return to work on the further adventures of CJ and Ozzie. Here's hoping @Mann Ramblings is excited about reading about our boys again sometime soon.

I will be away from the site starting later this week for an indeterminate length of time.  It should be less than a week, but it depends on if there are any complications during my surgery.  If anyone has any stories ready for proofing, please send them to me and I will pair you up with a proofreader as soon as I'm back on site.  The deadline is still a while away, so there's plenty of time.

Mine is done, now with my editor ... it could fit under either theme ... but i think Good Intentions may be the best option. I hope everyone else is busy writing and that it's going smoothly.
