Flashback to one of my devastating breakups when I went into my basement apartment with a bottle of tequila and listened to this on autorepeat.

Binged Letterkenny and Shoresy in Hulu. They played this whenever they drove over the border from Ontario into Quebec. Now I've listened to all her music three times

I've been blasting this music on repeat for a while now. Gotta love the 80s.

I do like Netta, but this one is a little too mainstream, without any edges.

(Gosh, it was hard to find the version where I liked his performance best 😅)

I don't have a video to post with this, but tonight I was watching American Idol and I was impressed with one of the performers who sang a song he had written.  He wrote the song dedicated to his mom shortly after she'd passed away to help him with the grieving process, and I was touched by it.  It was called, "How to Live Without You."   I think we've all lost loved ones, and this song brought back memories of how I felt after I lost my mom and my grandmother, who helped to raise me.

I found this later on YouTube and here's the link:

Currently on my stereo system via Tidal Audio: Madonna - Music. I prefer to listen to a musician's release from beginning to end, and this one is no exception. September will be Music's twenty-fourth anniversary -- see you next year for the twenty-fifth.

Below is the opening song of the work.

By the way, I can highly recommend watching Transatlantic on Netflix (if you have Netflix, of course)

Only forty years ago. Depeche Mode as teenagers. As relevant then as it is now.
