Well, we're done with snapping at each other.     The result is with @Valkyrie to edit.

Another 'Snapped' story is done, including edits (thanks, Gary). Just need the last polish and it's ready to be sent to Val.

Finally, I've sent the whole thing off, complete, to my long-suffering editor. He's only really got the ending to do though. Another short one: 12K or so words.   . Next week hopefully, I'll be shot of it and @Valkyrie will be its temporary keeper.
