Series Writing Reference Material

Anyone that follows my work, knows that I write interconnected stories.  By now, most people that follow my posts in general also realize that I have a tendency to pick up and read a ton of technical resources across all topics, including writing.   As such, I wanted to mention a nice fast read that I picked up on "How to Write a Series".  It was written by Sara Rosett. (Amazon link below is an affiliate link. GA gets a small fee if you buy the book from the link.)

This is a pretty short book and I read across two fairly short sittings.  However, it does a really nice job of giving you a starting point of considerations when you write a series.  It discusses items on both series and worlds.  It is slanted more towards mysteries and romances in its examples, but does relate to other genres as well.  There are a lot of questions it provides and prompts.  It also has some basic marketing/promotions ideas for when you write series.

I found it useful and I wanted to share.
