Popular Post Mark Arbour Posted May 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 12, 2023 (edited) There were times over the past few months where I wanted to be productive, but I didn't feel overly creative, or at least creative enough to write new chapters. So to occupy my time, and with amazing help of @impunity, I've been working to re-edit and in some cases, re-write Man In Motion. The edits were significant enough to take the word count from 147,000 to 185,000. If you do take the time to re-read it, let me know what you think. Since I'm not publishing this as a new book (I'm editing), it may be difficult to tell which chapters have been revamped. Here's the key: If a chapter has a name, it's new. For example, Chapter 1 was originally Chapter 1 (duh), but now it's titled "Super Bowl". I hope you enjoy the changes! Edited May 12, 2023 by Mark Arbour 8 6
gmc Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 It’s been awhile since I have read Man in Motion. It was one of the most volitive periods of Brad and Robbie’s relationship and one that continued to play a part in their lives. I am curious to see what you decided to reshape. 4
Popular Post Mark Arbour Posted May 14, 2023 Author Popular Post Posted May 14, 2023 In case you're curious, most of the chapters in this story were about 5000 words long. If you look at the word counts for the revised chapters, you can tell which ones have changed the most by looking at the higher word counts. 6
Mark Arbour Posted June 7, 2023 Author Posted June 7, 2023 With @impunity’s help, the rewrite of Man In Motion is complete. The last ten chapters were significantly enhanced, and I added a new chapter with more detail on Will’s birth. 2
impunity Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 (edited) I feel like we could add some commas. #OCD 😉 Edited June 7, 2023 by impunity 1 1
gmc Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 I have begun the the reread. The enhancements you’ve described seem exciting; I look forward to seeing how they effect an already excellent storyline. 2

methodwriter85 Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 I don't really re-read the stories unless you're asking for feedback on edits so this was a pretty cool experience. I can't believe it's been 14 years. 1 2
