The funniest one I've personally heard is ....

Meatloaf. It means I would do anything for love, but I won't do that!

I have a complex because of meatloaf.

As a kid, I hate, hate, hated the wretched stuff. Whenever my Mom made it, she would get mad at me because I'd give it to the dog who wouldn't eat it either.

Now, when I see or hear of meatloaf, I think my Mom is mad at me.

For goodness’s sake! If you've got the ingredients for meatloaf, make lasagna, meatballs or hamburgers out of it. Meatloaf suuuuuuuxxxxx!

      Then you've never tried a good BBQ meatloaf.

This has taken a twist I didn't expect, but my favorite meatloaf is a recipe my grandmother gave me "for when you have company you want to impress" - it's a meatloaf made with ground pork, veal and turkey, bound with bread crumbs and egg and then wrapped in peppered bacon. You make like a woven blanket of the bacon, wrap the meatloaf and secure it with wooden skewers and bake for an hour and a half at 300. It's the best thing ever, but you can hear your arteries harden while you eat it.

Whenever someone says Meatloaf, I think of Meatloaf, I would do anything for love....

My son makes a great meatloaf.  And meatloaf as a safe word does sound unusual.

Best working safe word-- the top's/Dom's mother's name. Really kills his mood.

And I collect meatloaf recipes. Got close to 100 so far. And I've prepared and/or eaten all of them.

Honestly though I'd only recommended about half of them.
