I've waited ten years to renovate my bathroom and the work was completed today :D  I'm beyond thrilled with how it turned out. :)

Photo Information for New Bathroom

Looks great, Val. I’ve been thinking about redoing my bathroom, but I can’t decide what I want to do. Having said that, I really like your cabinet, counter and sink choice. :)

It looks very nice, Val. Congrats!  :D This spring, I think we'll add a screened porch and a patio to the backyard. After Mickey's tree fort gets installed in the ground, of course.  :)

Looks good. We really need a before photo to truly appreciate the improvement.

Oh, and you need a smallish butt to squeeze down onto the loo seat.

Thanks!  So do I.  It took a long time to find a vanity and mirror I actually liked.  :)

Yeah, it's not the most spacious bathroom   When I moved into the house over ten years ago, it hadn't been updated since the '70s... at least.  So the decor was quite outdated and everything needed to be repainted and updated.  I can't tell you how many layers of wallpaper we removed.  We removed wallpaper from the  bathroom walls, leaving behind a nice layer of wallpaper adhesive residue.  The old vanity and medicine cabinet were brown and ugly.  The tub underneath the new surround is pink.  Plus, there used to be a window on the shower wall that looked into the den on the other side   So I'm quite happy to be rid of that and to have a nice, modern, functional bathroom.  :D

The cats must be thrilled that all the strange noises have stopped.

Joker is still informing me hourly about the terrors of his day.  And they're both dying to get in there and check things out, but I'm going to have a fit if they scratch anything so I'm keeping them out of there for now.  lol

From this perspective, your bathroom mirrors the exact layout of mine. Cramped and tiny. I like your remodel, though!

Thanks :) Cramped and tiny is spot on.  It's only about 25 square feet, not counting the tub.

Sounds about right. You must have an older house. 1960s?

1953  I'm the second owner.  I bought it from the original owner's estate ten years ago.
