For the remaining blogs, you are responsible for your own blog and what is posted there.  Site staff do not closely monitor blogs so bloggers are required to monitor their own and report issues if site rules are broken.

What is Premium? (Subscriptions)

• Premium membership is a subscription service on GA that funds the site and keeps it open for business.  Subscribers get access to special stories and have external site ads removed in exchange for a low monthly fee.  A new chapter or story is added each week.

How does GA use the funding?

• Funding raised through Premium membership service and advertising goes towards paying for the server, software fees, business fees, taxes, site improvements, and content.  If it were not for Premium Content subscribers, the site would not stay open or could not stay open free of charge.

Important note: You must be a member and logged in to see this.

1. Click on "Blogs" in the red menu bar. Click on "My blogs" under the Blogs header and select your blog.
2. Click on your avatar anywhere on the site. Once at your profile, click the blogs tab. Click on the name of your blog.

Select the purchase you wish to manage and press the Manage button.  The page will display the options (if any) available to you.

You can update your address in the Help -> Store Links Menu-> Addresses page.

• If you use PayPal for recurring subscription payments for Premium Content, then your Personal Information must match the account details on PayPal, by PayPal rules.  Stripe requires this as well.
• If you have an Account Credits, then you must have your tax information on file and your full name listed in your account. (this is visible to you and staff only.

• You can see your Account Credit by selecting Account Credit from the Help -> Store Links Menu.
• If you have credit in your account above a pre-set amount, they you'll be able to request a withdrawal.

There are two different ways you can do this. 

• Go to Help and then select "Support Requests" from the upper right side menu - https://gayauthors.org/support/
• Go to the bottom of any page and select "Contact Us".  Fill out the form.

• The Store, which is linked directly on the main menu can be found here: https://www.gayauthors.org/store/
• The Store is where members can upgrade their account to member groups like Author.
• You can also buy gift cards for other members in the Store.

Premium Membership is found under the Premium link on the red menu.

• They are located on the right-side menu when you go to the Store.
• Just click Buy Gift Card and fill out the information and check out.

1.  At the top of every site page is a "+Create" button. Click on that and select "blog entry". A floating box will pop up asking you to select the blog you want to create an entry for. Select your blog and click "continue".
2. Click on "Forums" in the main menu bar, then click on blogs. Under the "Blogs" heading, on the right, there is a green "Add new entry" button. Click that and select your blog.

Regardless of which option you chose, you will be taken to a new blog post page. Give your blog entry a title, tags if you'd like them, select whether or not to "auto follow", and whether or not you want to share to twitter (providing you have linked your twitter to GA). Enter your blog content in the editor.

• If you want to post immediately, then after entering your blog content, simply click on "Submit entry".
• If you want to save as a draft, then click on the "Publish" slider so that it turns grey.
• If you want to post date a blog, then under the Publish heading and just above the "submit entry" button, uncheck the box for "immediately". Fill out the date and time fields, and then click "submit entry".

• Members can upload images of themselves, places, pets, story material, etc.
• If posting pictures of others, please make sure you have permission to post the pictures. 
• Only post pictures that you own the copyright for. 
• At no time is it allowed to post anything containing nudity; this includes artwork. 
• Gallery images containing strategically covered nudity (eg: arms and legs covering genitals or breasts), sheer or see-through clothing, lewd or provocative poses, close-ups of breasts (women), buttocks, or crotches, and partially clothed underage persons (below 18 years of age) will be removed.
