2. Fill in the series title. (Or World Title for Worlds)

3. Fill in the name of the contributors.

3. Fill in the description.

4. Add cover images as applicable for your member group. Please use the correct image sizes shown below the upload field.

5. Click save.

1. Click "My Stories"
2. Find the story you wish to add to a Series or World
3. Click the Plus sign on the bottom right corner of the story listing and select "Add Story to Series" or "Add Story to World"

4. Choose which Series/World you wish to add.

For Series Only:

You can set the order of the series by pushing the "Up arrow" and "Down Arrow" on the stories until they are in the proper order. The red "X" will remove the story from the Series.

• You can manage your Story Collections by going to them from the "My Collections" option on the "My" button in the Stories Archive section of the site. https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/collections/?filter_mine=my

• Select the Collection you wish to manage
• Click the Manage button on the lower right side of the header

• You can Add Story to the Collection from here by choosing that option and then typing the title and selecting the correct story.
• You can Edit the settings for the Collection in "Edit Collection"
• Staff can change owners of the Collection with "Change Member"
• You can remove the Collection by "Delete Collection"

Adding/Removing Stories from Collections

• One way to add a story, as shown above, is to use the "Add Story to Collection" option from the "Manage" Menu
• Another way to add a story to a collection is to press the green button with a ➕

• After selecting the green plus, choose "Add to Collection".  You will then be prompted to select which collection.  If you do not have a collection created yet, you'll be given an error saying you must create a collection first.
• To remove a story, select the red X.  You will have to confirm you wish to remove the story.

• You can view your current collections by selecting "My Collections" from the My Stories button in the Story Archive section of the site.

• When Adding a new Collection:
  • Enter a title - This is the name of the collection that you will (and others for public collections) see
  • Choose Story Ordering - Is this a collection of stories or a ranked order like "My Top 5 Favorite Stories"?  If order matters, choose Story Ordering. If it does not, leave it off.
  • Choose Collection type
    • Private - Only You and Staff can see this.
    • Public - Everyone can see this
    • Curated - Only available to Staff, but otherwise behaves as Public Collection.
  • Description - Describe the collection and its purpose (favorites, planned reading order, past reading order)
  • Collection Cover - For curated collections by staff only.

A Story World is a setting where multiple stories or series of Stories take place.  It is a way to tie stories together to the same setting that are not necessarily a series. 

Examples:

• Harry Potter World - This is J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World where several series of stories take place: Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, etc
• The Marvel Cinematic Universe - This is Marvel's movie world where Dr. Strange, Iron Mans 1-3, Avengers, Captain America, etc exist in one world and can interact with each other.
• Your own created "world" with stories loosely related by plot or characters but not intended to be read in a specific sequence.
