  1. Past hour
  2. This new retreat is/has covered all the angles so it would seem, I jest...including the end of the world...
  3. This is the wonderful story of Carlo and Brandon. You really need to read this story and follow there adventures. We meet plenty of interesting people over the course of the story. Give it a read today.

Simply loved the last paragraph, it is after all what friends are for!! “I think you’ll find the word is Lesbian”, there were grins all round at Hughie’s intervention, but it was a trap they were all trying not to fall into. On a lively night out, the chance of getting away with an evening without the use of the word faggot, queer, fairy or poofter was difficult. The irony was that it affected Keith’s mates more than him, he was aware that whatever the liveliness of their language, they had his back when it was most important.
  5. Thye grand scope and potential for the country retreat has now become apparent. Oscar will have some serious thinking to undertake and has the time to plan and learn as he grows.I hope his need for couseling ends with him in a well balanced situation. Will his parents present a problem to him at some point? The retreat might be something they want to control --especially if his grandparents die. too soon before Oscar becomes an adult.
  6. Fingers crossed! Be it "making love", "the ultimate connection", "producing kite juice", or—as normal people call it—"having sex" 😉 Well, as I said:
  7. Yeah. There weren't too many ultimate connections in this one. I'll have to try to correct that in the next one. Unfortunately, it won't be right away. I can't be loved by everyone, can I?
  8. Thanks to both of you. 💗
  9. You mean those, who fail to "make the ultimate connection"? Yeah, we kinda already established that you are in a way unique in creating not entirely likable protagonists but being okay with that, which is really refreshing ^^ So you wish to be a little more unlikable, too? 😜 I like people who are open to improvement 👍
  10. Today
  11. @Zuri As usual, a lot to cover in your comments. I'll hit some high points. I was in a partying mood, I guess. I'm trying to not be so repetitive, especially about "making love" Bragging? No nod, just like having stupidly rich people act a little stuck-up. Wishful thinking on my part, wishing I was stupidly rich. Yeah, I definitely took the earlier comments into account when considering Carlo's future. Some stupidity has to have somewhat painful repercussions. What can I say. I like cars. Can't have any that I include in my stories, for the most part. I live vicariously through my characters. I mean, they all have a better sex life than me. 😁
  12. Thanks. I always appreciate your comments. Could he get work? In fiction, anything is possible. IRL, I suspect there are a few organizations that don't hire the cream of the crop. I dealt with one when I first moved to Georgia. 100 years? Well, even now it's 90 years old. I'm enjoying writing the next one too. And thanks for not skipping 😉
  13. You leave Prise alone, he’s too sweet and precious for your pervy hands. 👀
  14. Look at that, I'm back again. Hi 😁

  15. Boy meets boy, leaves boy, meets another boy. All the usual things happen to someone with a thankfully less-than-usual life.
  16. Sam Wyer

    Chapter 1

“OK, here we are, sweety. It’s number 31.” I know that tone. She uses it when she wants me to do something. Or rather, when she wants me to do something that she believes is good for me and thinks I need to be convinced. Not like when she just wants me to clean up the dishes or something. My mum pulled her unnecessary SUV over to a stop as she spoke. We live on the edge of a small coastal city, and there is literally nothing that warrants such a big vehicle. But she, like apparent
  17. A brave and talented man who sadly passed away after contracting AIDS from a blood transfusion. He wrote A Hard Road to Glory and did much for AIDS, refugees and kids. He cared about others deeply. He once said: "True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost." Have a good Thursday.
