Oscar's grandparents are assembling more land for the grandkids. It is interesting to see how they proceed. Oscar has found iems of interest off the coast that we have learned belongs to Australia. But, later if he gains the skills and permission they might be worthy scuba diving places. At least, he is learning interesting facts about the land and sea near his grandarents property. His grandparents may try to conserve some of the land as a private nature preserve and keep it from commercial development. Oscar is getting an education in land buying and working with other pwners.

Like @kbois mentioned, if governments cared about their own country more than the rest of the world, maybe we could improve things for our populations. Thanks, chris.

What a mess--wait till it is so late and the 19 year old is loopy on drugs and hopefully take her away quietly so as to not alert others. The person should not want to leave since she is a permier acolyte. She sounds like a true believer who will resist leaving if she is able . Our heroes are in danger of being discovered. What else has Alihte not revealed that might be compromising their mission? I expect they will receive a distress call that urges them to leave the planet and save their friends.

I agree with @Summerabbacat - I believe Caroline has true concern for Thomas and is just trying to make sure Keith isn't going to hurt him. This was a nice chapter that helped break the ice with Caroline and Nate. There was no uproar with the church. The initial uneasiness with Bart and Greg has resolved. I loved the descriptions - felt as though I was there observing all the action and hearing the conversations. Well done!

Another great short, but immersive, whodunnit from @chris191070. Ken Hall has become my favourite detective. I'm looking forward to more and his next case has already started. I love this series and I'm sure others will too. My recommendation is to read and enjoy.

At least Granger managed to warn Calvert beforehand, so he wasn't caught totally by surprise. I think George should hire a private investigator to check out Chalmers and his relationship to the man who was hanged. That may bring up stories about this Chalmers vowing to get revenge on Granger.

Will and Travis are great together, I really hope they'll make it as a couple long term. Surprisingly, I'm even thinking the same about JJ and Kris, though I normally couldn't care less about the drama queen.

Whilst I like Caroline, I do think she was just a little too inquisitive, particularly her question about Keith ever having a relationship with a woman again. Keith's response to her questioning seemed to please her, so I suspect her motives are genuine in that she is "fishing" to ensure Thomas is not going to be hurt. I get the impression she cares greatly for Thomas, whose relationship with his father appears to have been distant and fractured, although at least without the violence which plagued Keith's relationship with his father. Another of your wonderful physical descriptions @Robert Hugill. This time it was Isobel Bonner's turn. "She was a grey-haired woman, perhaps in her early 70s, tall and rather handsome with a very brisk manner. .... Rather proper, capable, and brusque, she seemed hardly the sort of person to be interested in art made from bits of plastic and Meccano. " I liked the description of Michael Atkinson's "artwork" too.
