  1. Past hour
  2. Fingers crossed! Be it "making love", "the ultimate connection", "producing kite juice", orβ€”as normal people call itβ€”"having sex" πŸ˜‰ Well, as I said:
  3. Yeah. There weren't too many ultimate connections in this one. I'll have to try to correct that in the next one. Unfortunately, it won't be right away. I can't be loved by everyone, can I?
  4. Thanks to both of you. πŸ’—
  5. You mean those, who fail to "make the ultimate connection"? Yeah, we kinda already established that you are in a way unique in creating not entirely likable protagonists but being okay with that, which is really refreshing ^^ So you wish to be a little more unlikable, too? 😜 I like people who are open to improvement πŸ‘
  6. @Zuri As usual, a lot to cover in your comments. I'll hit some high points. I was in a partying mood, I guess. I'm trying to not be so repetitive, especially about "making love" Bragging? No nod, just like having stupidly rich people act a little stuck-up. Wishful thinking on my part, wishing I was stupidly rich. Yeah, I definitely took the earlier comments into account when considering Carlo's future. Some stupidity has to have somewhat painful repercussions. What can I say. I like cars. Can't have any that I include in my stories, for the most part. I live vicariously through my characters. I mean, they all have a better sex life than me. 😁
  7. Thanks. I always appreciate your comments. Could he get work? In fiction, anything is possible. IRL, I suspect there are a few organizations that don't hire the cream of the crop. I dealt with one when I first moved to Georgia. 100 years? Well, even now it's 90 years old. I'm enjoying writing the next one too. And thanks for not skipping πŸ˜‰
  8. You leave Prise alone, he’s too sweet and precious for your pervy hands. πŸ‘€
  9. Today
  10. Look at that, I'm back again. Hi 😁

  11. Boy meets boy, leaves boy, meets another boy. All the usual things happen to someone with a thankfully less-than-usual life.
  12. Sam Wyer

    Chapter 1

β€œOK, here we are, sweety. It’s number 31.” I know that tone. She uses it when she wants me to do something. Or rather, when she wants me to do something that she believes is good for me and thinks I need to be convinced. Not like when she just wants me to clean up the dishes or something. My mum pulled her unnecessary SUV over to a stop as she spoke. We live on the edge of a small coastal city, and there is literally nothing that warrants such a big vehicle. But she, like apparent
  13. A brave and talented man who sadly passed away after contracting AIDS from a blood transfusion. He wrote A Hard Road to Glory and did much for AIDS, refugees and kids. He cared about others deeply. He once said: "True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost." Have a good Thursday.

    Chapter 15

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. And... I haven't ever seriously considered writing more of these two, but it's an intriguing thought, and would be the perfect way to further procrastinate on finishing any of my currently unfinished projects! 🀣
  15. Mikiesboy

    Chapter 1

Thank you for reading them, Bill. Number 5 seems to be a favourite. It's more of a classic style. Anyway, thanks again!

    Chapter 15

@Anton_Cloche sooo that means I did an awesome job on this one, right? I LOVE the gifs.
  17. Well, I am also headed back to the dentist. My (less than a year old) dentures have the anchor hook on the uppers break off and a crack in the lowers. At least no novacain involved and I don't have to hang upside down!

    Chapter 7

I was doing really well with nary a tear shed until Dwight appeared not once, but twice, in Phil's "window". I am keen to learn more about him @Ronyx because it appears he may have been the "love of his life" for Phil, a life cut short by HIV/AIDS. Several other readers have expressed their concern for Stanley's welfare, with @weinerdog going so far as to wish Matt from Stuff People Do could make a guest appearance to provide counsel not only to Stanley, but perhaps to Mrs Sullivan too. It appears Mr Sullivan may be a lost cause, unless it was just the fact he caught his son watching porn, rather than watching specifically gay porn, which caused his outburst. Methinks it was more likely the gay porn, rather than just the porn, which has outraged him so. I hope that between Phil and Colin they are able to track down Stanley and provide him with the comfort and reassurance he so desperately needs. I was 1 month old when President Kennedy was assassinated. My father has on occasion recalled where he was at the time, he was bathing me and he and my mother were shocked as many were. I must confess I know little of his political achievements, these having been overshadowed in the press at least, by his alleged womanising, particularly with Marilyn Monroe. The joy experienced by Phil from something as simple as a clean shave and a fresh haircut was beautifully captured @Ronyx. I am often surprised when I have had a fresh haircut (as I did yesterday) what a "pick me up" it can be if I am feeling stressed, a little blue or unwell. The pleasure derived from simple things like this should not be underestimated, particular in today's often shallow modern world obsessed with technology and social media.
  19. Yeah, these last couple of chapters almost rival what Kyle Aarons writes in his Kandric Saga!
