I've been losing my composure on and off all night trying to post announcements and reach out to close friends. I found Comsie in late 96 back when we were all trying to figure out this new box in our house that let us find all kinds of cool stuff all around the world as long as no one needed to use the phone I forget exactly where I found him, Nifty archive or the little page he had created on one of those little "Build your own web page" sites that were popping up all over the place at the time. I read the couple of chapters of Gone From Daylight that he had written and emailed him to let him know that I loved it and couldn't wait to see where it was going. 28 years later I would still be waiting and tonight can't believe I now know where it ends 😪 Rest in Peace "Comet" - When I come to join you, I'm going to bug you for that ending! I'd imagine someone like Connor would have temper problems. Maybe it's inherited or just normalized by seeing it so much growing up, but I don't think he'd have an understanding of various coping skills and such.

Things had gone too well lately. When the shit started hitting the fan, it was somewhat expected. Granted, it was extremely unpleasant. But then, when is shit ever pleasant? He was a cornerstone of this site, and so many other sites on the web. He will be missed but not forgotten. We have his stories here forever to live on. RIP.

The chapter is great as is! But, the important thing is that you are getting better and have someone in your life now that is good for you and your children. And that you are getting mentally healthy once again. Sounds like you have an amazing BF! Hope all goes well for all of you?

This is a sad day. As @Sherye Story Reader says, he will be missed. He is such a personality and will always be. My condolences to his friends and family and to @Myr and all those he touched here.
