This is such sad news. Comsie is the main reason I became a gay teen author. I was an avid fan, and when I began to write, he read my first stories. He encouraged me to continue. He saw the potential that I didn't know then that I had. It was a great honor when he featured me in the May 2021 issue of his Imagine Magazine. He was a G.O.A.T. and I will miss him dearly.

Also, Mike is a Special Constable; he really should know better than to expect more. Thinking back, especially early in our relationship, I wondered why my Husband didn't trust me more. Eventually, I realized it's not about trust; it's about duty.

Comsie was one of the first members I interacted with on GA. His warmth and kindness were able to get me to overcome my usual shyness, which led me to meeting so many more wonderful people on this site. He's left an indelible mark on me as a person, and for that, I'll never forget him. Rest in peace, Comsie.

I did not see this coming. So, so sad. I discovered his writing fairly recently thanks to @weinerdog, and I remember sinking in for hours and hours. Not many authors can match his immersive and emotional narration paired with captivating storytelling. I will miss his presence and grieve over his unfinished stories. End of an era.

I have no words. Things around here just won't be the same without him.

Yeah, the Baby Rambo moniker is something that's floated between a couple of stories. I've just felt that was the perfect nickname for my boys when they have to get physical and defend themselves. One thing that's always gotten on my nerves was in my youth gay men were characterized as either being really feninine, or closeted assholes, and I always said to myself if I create a gay male character they're gonna be playful, strong, sensitive, and comfortable with themselves. (I'm 45 now, so yeah Ive got the years under my belt to honestly make that statement. LOL) I love your comments, @centexhairysub

I've been sitting here in shock and unable to express the great loss that I feel. Comsie and I both started writing at about the same time,, although I had to take lengthy breaks due to family issues and my health. We were both star ted by sharing our stories on Nifty back then, and we even moved to GA at about the same time, but I never expected him to go before me. All I can offer at this time is my heart felt condolences to his family and friends. You will be greatly missed, my friend, and I know you'll continue sharing your wonderful stories in the great beyond.

He was my first discovery on GA and will never be dethroned as the best. I hate it when I’m right. It always costs something. Just last night I was thinking about him and realized we haven’t heard from him in a while. Then this morning I see this post. The impact he made on me in the briefest of interactions was like a meteor. World changing. I will miss him deeply. I am shocked & yet not. He got his Sunrise. Someone please pick up his torch and finish GFD. How I hope he passed on his vision with that story. RIP my friend.
