I love this chapter. Of course Liam wants to have Mike all to himself. The parents are out and the twins were absorbed in playing a game so Liam had a chance to play some one on one games with Mike. However, Liam's response to Mike spending time with the twins shows that his feelings for Mike are more than just sexual. The scene in the storeroom and closet was wonderful. It certainly made hide and seek a more entertaining game.

I as @weinerdog pointed out, am convinced M is somewhat playing the innocent game a bit too well...all through the first two chapters we see instances where he 'knows' some things but not other things...makes me go hummmmm

Aaarghh! What The H E double hockey sticks are you doing? And what does the demon Mephistopheles (sp not one that seems to refer to furball) want with young Stormcloud / Ethan. (Aside from the carnal evilness he is known and reviled for in Germanic lore).

So Connor encounters something strange in the abandoned house, goes unconscious and is rescued by M. Then sees an Orb… unconscious again and wakes up back home. M must have some serious strength or can levitate things… then Connor hears M talking to someone, but there is no one there…. Very mysterious. Sunday with Hannah will be interesting, He needs to tell Hannah about his feelings, but is afraid.

That's my secret. I let my characters surprise me. My guess may be an educated one but it's still a guess, and time afrer time it turns out to be wrong. And I love it! And it looks like he's starting to enjoy itm, even if he senses it's supposed to be Liam's job.. I'll try to give the twins someone to play with in the next chapter. And I do love Carol. Damn, you guys are making it a hard choice!

The twins are just starved for some attention. It's one thing having the twin thing, but it's nice to have a pal. For some reason I see Mike's mom as a good Carol.

Mike is a single child which means, although overwhelming at times, being a big brother to twins is actually new experience for him.

You guess? 🤯 🤯 I had you in the elite group of people who didn't need to guess as what Liam's up to! Very ethical of Liam if so, to not put pressure on Mike, who came in looking like he couldn't stand much extra. But interesting alright, and if so the Liam's plan is coming together nicely!

Thanks for noticing. My guess is that Liam just came up with this deal hmself to let Mike do things at his own pace. Not that his hints were very subtle, but hey, he tried. The twins are kind of self sufficient... and a bit annoying too. Their best friend was Liam, not so long ago. They totally should find a replacement. Or maybe...

Breathless left me, indeed, breathless. It was beautiful and sensual. Decisions made me feel the weight of years and choices made. If I think about them too much, I may suffocate. So why do the twins seem to never have friends over. Are they as annoying with their peer group as they are to Maggie,Liam and Mike?We don't really know Liam's Dad too well showing up unshaven like Mike described makes me imagine a lot of possibilities. I was never into fingers but after reading the scene between Liam and Mike with Liam's fingers all of a sudden I am. Better start wearing gloves around me LOL

Hehe, clever of Liam to hide with Mike, and come out of the closet on his own, and leave Brody thinking he'd looked. Interesting that line: The deal was Liam could drop hints -- Mike got to decide when and if. We sort of guessed at something like that a chapter ago. But interesting to hear Liam call it a deal. So who's this deal with? I'm guessing that's a rule Maggie made for Liam? Could be Olivia. Or could be Liam dealing with himself?

Deep inside, Mike was torn that he couldn't be alone with Liam. But Maggie counted on him... True that! Mike doesn't want to appear disrespectful, and as much as he'd like to feel at home, his home is where his heart is, if you know what I mean. Fingers crossed things go just like you say they will :3
