Well fuck, that was A Lot. And so freaking good! So our boy finally lost it. Can't say I'm surprised really. Dad-bro Kalian is on a whole other level after all and so, apparently, is his majik. The exchange between Lyme & Eon and subsequent near-choking of emo goblin boy plus bros bickering was brilliantly done. As was forcing Kal to intervene. I mean, obviously he's not going to allow the children to break useful objects. But having to stand against both his husband and his brother? On behalf of a more-than-questionable emo goblin boy? Absolutely brilliant. Talk about breaking point... And haha another dead king. You realise this means that the false accusation of Kal being a king-killer in a previous arc was actually foreshadowing, right? Absolute banger, my dude... Too good. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are a master of your craft. And we are beyond privileged to be allowed to read your stories. Storytelling King. Man, so freaking good... And on that note - and a bit of a cliffie for me because it's past 4am and my bed is calling - I say "thanks for the fish boss, see you on the flipside". 🤘

Okay, not sure what is going on; but that went to hell in a handbasket rather quickly...

Chapter 29 - End Vision
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 29 - End Vision
Well, I think that if Lyoth and Strawren can get to them, they can help; but don't discount Phentrom if he so decides. Can't this group ever catch a break??? -

A huge loss. May his memory be a blessing. -
Chapter 28 - Alihte
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 28 - Alihte
A chapter filled with questions and answers but in the end; the truth... -
Or by Kathleen Turner as Beverly Sutphin whilst singing along to Barry Manilow's Daybreak.

I remember that show.

Okay, that got complicated really fast. I fully trust Greg to make the right decisions; and the Prince backed him fully, of course, did anyone suspect that he wouldn't? Looks like their household just got a little bigger in one night. Is Josh in thrall to a mating bond or a paternal one? Only time will tell, but of course, it could be both, and that might be a little confusing for all involved. LOL. Can't wait to see what happens next. Well done, lot's of information delivered to the point.

I'd like to see that bus driven by Kathy Bates from the movie Misery....

@Demiurgeit would be an honour. Like seriously, anytime.

Nope. Never have I ever been stuck in an elevator.

I will definitely help. I need to help

This is very sad news. I can't express into words what this man did for me as an author. He was a friend's, a mentor, a real person. He named me a successor to him. This truly breaks my heart and my soul. Everything that he has ever written I've read. I've commented on. I've written him so many email these past 16 years. I just can't believe some that I admired and inspired to be isn't here anymore.

"Talk to you guys soon! And smile for me tonight! Let's start the new year off with our hearts uplifted and hope on the horizon! Take care! And stay beautiful!" Those are the last words Comicality sent out in his last e-mail on December 31, 2023 to those subscribers who followed him. Hope on the horizon and stay beautiful...don't that just remind you of him? Beautiful words from a beautiful soul gone too soon. My favorite memory of him is his reply to mine about Prince's "Purple Rain" 45 being the first 45 he ever owned. "The Purple Rain single was the first record I ever bought with my own money as a kid. Purple vinyl and all. 45, with 'God' on the back. crazy." was his original post. I mentioned that I couldn't remember my first, though "Purple Rain" was in the top three. His reply: "Hehehe, Purple Rain was my FIRST! I was 9 years old, and I swept driveways and raked leaves for the neighbors to buy that 45! I think my first three were Purple Rain, Superbowl Shuffle, and Walk This Way. I think. God...that was SO long ago! LOL! ... Hahha, and the Jacksons, "Blame It On The Boogie"! I can't believe I still have that! :)" -
Well with a phone booth or a porta potty available at any nearby galaxy rest stop, why waste the space???
-
Oh wow, I've never heard of that show. How weird!
-
Okay, but like, I might actually say the word. I'm working on one rn

I can remember a TV series similar to this story called Kyle XY. To a point this story mirrors that show, at least in the beginning. One defining characteristic was that Kyle XY had no belly button....and it begs the question.... And talk about a craptastic day that was a total shitshow....

Improbably, Nathan made it out of town. Now they must retrieve the gear Brohm hid and the forest and make their way to Morgana. What could go wrong?

Please no--The Braveheart punishment and solution?? This should not be necessary

@Demiurge in a heartbeat man, just say the word.

Looks like Pete is getting set up, not only by Carl & crew, but also for upcoming chapters.

I have suspected Uncle George is gay since chapter 1, and the frank advice he gave the boys in this chapter regarding the "less glamorous" aspects of gay sex have all but confirmed my suspicions. Said bus to be driven @drsawzallby Mary Wickes aka Sister Mary Lazarus or maybe just driven by Mary Wickes playing Mary Wickes (she was hilarious in the Doris Day/Gordon McRae films On Moonlight Bay and By The Light Of The Silvery Moon). It certainly appears Carl's family (likely Carl's father) has influence he has used to ensure Carl's "punishment" for his hate crime was laughable. With a little luck Larry Lundquist (love the alliteration @Al Norris) may be able to exert some influence of his own. The smell of corruption is not quite a stench, but there is certainly an odour in the air with both the police and the school principal treating Peter with indifference at best and homophobic contempt at worst. Methinks the "old boys" network and/or religious bigotry have raised their ugly heads yet again in Flat Earth Central. And what about Mary? What a c..t. I did not realise the extent of the boulder which killed Peter's father @Al Norris. I recall I read the chapter late at night or in the early hours of the next morning, so likely did not appreciate it. I recall realising he must have been disfigured and was appalled Mary made Peter view his body in the open casket, but a 15 ton boulder. I am surprised he was not just liquid with some shards of bone. Mary is despicable. I am a vengeful bitch @Al Norris so I sincerely hope you have a dreadful incident ready for Mary, one which will not end her without significant, long-lasting suffering.
