  2. Liam sat on the sofa, in the Common Room with his book on his lap. Like this, he could just look down at his book, quietly read it, and no one would notice him doing so. It was a Tuesday evening, so there was little chance of anything on the television there that would interest him. He glanced down at his book and began to read the first paragraph on the left-hand page. “It’s starting now,” Ed said, as his elbow nudged Liam in his side. “What is?” Liam looked up from his book and at th

    Chapter 7

Is he now? I mean, Mike's boldness brought him betrayal, rejection, outing, bulling and, ultimately, banishment from the home city. Liam didn't have to go through all of that. The real challenge for Liam is going to be coming out (whether by surprise or family talk) and his attitude toward Mike then. That is going to be test - will he stay by his side or play dumb!
  5. John Henry

    Chapter 7

Just read it for the second time, and love how bold Liam is being. Knowing that he's also kind, caring and attentive towards Mike, it makes his assertiveness that much more hotter. Mike is very lucky.
  6. Where is Mike? In Zulu: ipi uMike?
  7. Your writing is so engaging. I'm enjoying every word. The Turners have probably been involved with this their entire lives. Perhaps RMW's father was also aware. It seems like RMW is the guardian of the world and Jamie is the guardian of RMW. The sooner he knows the full details the better. I think he and the Right Honourable Minister are a good working team. 💪
  8. A chapter with a person to hate, sad deaths in a fire and justice prevailing in court. Quite a mixed bag and good reading.
  9. I wonder if RMW is trying to protect Jamie from some of the horrors of this "supernatural world". Jamie is quite new to it whilst RMW has had years, perhaps his whole life, to come to grips with it. I want to know more about the minister.
  10. The loss of this wonderful person saddens me. I discovered Comicality before coming to GA. His witty, creative, and well-written stories gave me a wealth of reading material by the time I started being active in GA. What I found here was even more impressive. The essays written by Comicality showed a person willing to share concepts, insights, and skills with others to help them become better writers/editors/betas. Comicality has left us all a great legacy.
  11. Wow, what sad news to wake up to this morning. Comsie was a pillar of GA and always supportive and helpful. He gave back to GA in many ways through his articles and writing, and I know he touched many lives. I'm in shock right now. RIP.
  12. Stawren lowered Lyoth’s dagger and looked the woman up and down. “You’re not all zoned out like the other Children.” The woman shook her head. “I want to get away from the Entry of Ecstasy and these people. Following Mama goddess out here was a mistake.” Her eyes began to well with tears. “Help me get him back to our ship,” Stawren commanded, indicating Lyoth. She added, “I’m Stawren,” as they each grabbed him under an arm and began dragging him. “Alihte,” the woman replied.

  14. I studied math under a guy who later got famous (or infamous) for having sex with students. I didn't even know it was an option. Never have I ever f-ed for a grade.
  15. I'm shocked. He will be missed.
  16. Just about to finish my first week So many new faces
