I love this story and this amazing chapter. The boys are pulling Phil into the present by taking him out of the centre and in the process making him feel younger. I liked him paying for his haircut. It allowed Phil show a level of independence that he was largely denied in his daily life in the centre. The chapter also raised the reality of gay teenage suicide and hinted that even in retirement you can be in a toxic relationship. I hope more comes of Phil's meeting with Gary. I don't live in USA but I remember where I was when I heard about Kennedy's assassination. His death was a shock and he was mourned here in Australia as well as USA.

Is it possible for his nose to be longer than he is tall? 🤔

The journey was agonizingly slow going. Cenya's determination was no match for the uneven terrain of the woods. Still, for a crippled woman with only one leg she maneuvered around her disabilities far better than Tannhaus who breathed like a wounded animal, stopping every several feet to clutch at his heaving sides. I have earned.. tenosynovitis which is an inflamed tendon sheath rather than the tendon itself. I'm not sure if the treatment will be the same but I will find out next Tuesday. I also earned a few other unexpected things with big long Latin names that weren't on the radar.. boils down to some sort of cyst in the middle of my foot and a bunch of arthritis. Aging... yay... not. I have little faith that this will be healing any time soon. Hope everyone has a good night!

I help to operate and maintain another gay story website. I've written a couple of what I now consider 'fluff' pieces. I've even ghostwritten a few scenes for other authors in their stories (almost always combat action scenes). I've often asked how they develop the plot, etc. Contrary to what some of the professional writers will tell us, most often the answer I get is that the characters drive the story. The characters tell the author what to write. Many of the better writers here at GA all say the same thing. If Peter's story seems to be realistic and true to life, it is because of the voices in my head tell me what to write.

Then stop lying in your comments!

Hopefully, no more in the near future. Three in a year is enough.

Hopefully not a bad reputation. Money is preferred.

That looks it would perform the task painfully and efficiently @drsawzall. Just what De Douchebag "ordered".

I'm surprised you haven't made more mistakes (who is talking to whom) than what I've caught! I can't imagine the size of your character sheet(s).
