  2. You know I was actually scared the first time I emailed him? I was so worried that I was just taking up his valuable time and he was too busy to care about yet another reader. I was so shocked when he emailed back and sounded genuinely happy to hear from me. I kept emailing him a few more times, the usual "Hey, I loved the latest chapter of GFD!" and he'd always reply (fashionably late, but that's just the Comsie way). Then he started emailing me first and I was like "What's going on here???" and he'd just send me links to Youtube videos and random things like that, and before I realised it he'd started calling me his friends and even years later I still don't know how that happened. I never got to know him as well as you did, but there were a few occasions where I felt he let me see behind the mask and help however I could. That meant so much more to me than being friends with THE Comicality of moderate internet fame.

Oh thank you. That’s amazing I’m doing a happy dance.
  5. OMG yes. He radiated the youth he portrayed in his stories. Without question. I remember when Imagine Magazine got hacked for the last time and he was going to let it go, I was so nervous to offer help. I mean we've been friends for like 100 years but as an author, I was a total fanboi and I needed to put that image down to get the work that was needed done. It's been in the last 5 or 6 years working with him every month that I've gotten to know him as the man, not the legend. To me his name was simply Comicality, or Comsie, or Coms, or my favorite, Comet! He had a real name, and actual voice and face. I've known him for well over 20 years but in the last 6ish years, I got to know the man behind the mask, and I wouldn't trade any of that time for all the gold in the world. I also am thankful I sent that first email so long ago and have often joked that I used to freak out when he emailed me back. Then thanks to IM when I'd see his name it meant work and a groan because of a tight deadline, LOL! Now for the rest of my days, I'm going to miss those late night emails... "Here's what I have for now, I'll send more after I get the rest of the formatting done..." Now who do I talk to about Spider-Man and include giggling conversations of Tom Holland in spandex? "But, yeah, I'll continue being an insufferable brat from time to time! I wouldn't have come this far with the site if I hadn't been all these years. I'll just have to work on adding stress to your day until then! :P" ...and he absolutely did 🥲

    Exposed

Something I neglected to mention although I prefer Connor with M (I'm still not convinced M is human though) I had hoped the Hannah situation could have been handled better .I think fundamentally she is a good person I hope she finds her way back to being a friend and Allie🤞

I really like Jaz!! She is going to become a good friend to Keith I think. Keith is exploring his sexuality in earnest and asking the questions most of us probably asked. I certainly would have liked to, but didn't really know any gay men to ask. I just knew I liked men, and then went and got married to a woman anyway. Divorced now, but there was a lot of heartache (and some joy) along the way.

    Two

A fabulous second chapter. Keith has finally dipped his toe into the gay scene. That first experience wasn't great but hopefully he meets someone that sets his world ablaze.

I loved Chapter 1. 😍 Keith is endearing and I'm sure someone will snap him up as soon as he allows it.
  12. You can run, but you can't hide from the tickle pack.
  13. I had taken my shirt off in the bathroom and walked back into the bedroom to put another one on. I noticed that Mitch was openly staring at me. Something he never did in the locker room. I could see the lust in his eyes, as he licked his lips. OK, I’m guessing about the ‘lust’ bit. Except for my brothers, there’s never been anyone in my bedroom watching me get dressed before. I don’t have anything to compare this with. I don’t know what Mitch was thinking, but his eyes said it was intense, and t

  15. I have thought about this and would like add my suggestions on a tribute to comsie. Write a story about your experiences on reading his stories but also stories on how he impacted you on how he helped you and how you met him online or in person. He would love that kind of tribute. The tribute can be an anthology of stories for all authors and non authors just to pay tribute to this AMAZING author.

What a cliffhanger and my mind will be whirling for the next week. Did Jamie shoot the victim? Dir RMW shoot? Did they shoot the hand with the knife ? We will have the answers soon , but in the meantime:

Good questions @Kitt. Who stands to gain the most from the world being filled with monsters? That is the question that needs to be answered.

  21. My Only Escape spoke to me in ways I never knew possible as it is similar to my experience in a few ways.
  22. I arrived home from another round of treatment at the hospital and naturally felt tired but otherwise happy, then I came to GA and the first thing I notice is a banner announcing some of the worst news that can be announced on GA. We have lost another of our 'greats', yes @Comicality was one of the greatest on GA and he has gone to join the other 'greats' that we have lost. We will all miss him for the friendship, support and encouragement that he gave us and we will miss the stories that he had yet to write, and they were many. We will still be able to enjoy his entertaining stories as they are here on our favourite website, and even his unfinished stories will continue to entertain us into the future. @Comicality was always there to help, give advice and support any author who approached him, he always looked for and found positivity in any story and encouraged an author to continue to write in his/her own fashion and style and gave encouragement to remain true to oneself. His stories will remain as our reminder of him and they will entertain future members. His writing advice will always be there in blog entries for us to benefit from and use as a reference. I would love to see those blog entries transferred to a separate blog, making it easier for current and future members to access. I think it would also serve as a fitting tribute to an author of his stature. I will miss @Comicality, I will and already have shed a tear or two to mourn his passing. But I will also remember him with fondness and continue to read and reread his stories and rejoice in the entertainment he has left for us. Our lives are poorer for having lost a great author and good friend. But we must remember that we are richer for having known Comsie and the legacy he has left in his writings, he will live on through his stories and blog entries here on GA and elsewhere. Farewell good friend, we shall meet again.
