    Run

Despite M's killing the agent, the most positive aspect of this mess is it forced Connor out of the just get by rut his life has been in. He's having to confront his past one piece at a time. No matter what they do, I'm not convinced they can evade this mysterious organization which is after M. They easily found him before. What does Marshall do with his money? Even if he chain smokes and drinks like a fish, there has to be some left over. Even the lowest paid steel worker gets paid decent money.
  5. Still it would be very interesting to 're-discover' one or two of these wrecks!!!

    Seasons

The Columbine poem has left me contemplating it for days. You had me running to a five-min. google search for myths relating to the flower, which proved, yes, there is one relating to this type of flower, and no, I had not heard it because authors like Ovid and Robert Graves did not find it compelling enough to talk about (a point on which I can agree). So, that leaves us with Columbine as a national scar on the American psyche . . . perhaps this watershed moment is what readers are supposed to connect to. The high school massacre was a form of suicide for the murderers too . . . lest we forget, and perhaps I was meant to delay my comments all along, mulling over the poem, until today -- the anniversary of event the NRA piggybacked extremist moneymaking on. Million and million of dollars, and countless lives lost since then because of them. However, a large part of me wishes I did not know your poem came out of an assignment/workshopping effort, because the results are truly amazing. I suppose -- and you should defo not comment on my mind-wanderings, because I'm not asking you to, nor am I in anyway 'expecting an explanation,' as so many out there are when they encounter challenging artistic works -- the poem is a modern exponent of Ovid after all. Transformation in his Metamorphoses is often the result of tragedy and unwanted transitioning from one state to another (usually due to violence as a forced agent of change). But just like many of the Roman's tales of transmogrify, the protagonist in your poem seems to unveil their true selves to us. Perhaps tearing at the veneer is for our eyes only, for the one "feeling different" knows there has been something growing underneath the whole time
  7. I do give myself a medicine via needle once a week. Never have I ever gotten shot by gun.
  8. I'm always a good lad, lol, I don't have time for anything else. I'm good just getting used to a new treatment regime which is tiring.
  9. Your arguments for me to move to France, and become a teacher are valid. "Class, welcome to Innocence 101".
  10. That will depend on close it is to Australia. You seem familiar. That face... that hair... those buns.... Craig! How have you been? Are you being a good lad?

    Chapter 6

    What a lovely chapter!
  12. The one who needs to be kidnapped and left where she can't cause any mischief is Mama.
  13. OMG--is Aziel alive? Why does ( Father)Daniel think he is alive? Daniel, then his young lover, saw him killed years ago. He seemed like an angel in the chapel . Daniel has returned to the restored chapel and town where Aziel was shot by Arthur. He is motivated by the warm thoughts he has of Aziel. Does Aziel have any connection to Adam?

    Grief

So obviously I don't need to wait, being the future and all, but I want it on record that writers block or not this is an absolutely stellar chapter and, you are beyond awesome. And in serious trouble if Wren isn't fully restored by the end of the next chapter... (by trouble I mean your wine will suspiciously disappear. By suspiciously I mean directly from your glass as you go to drink it) Also, the compassionate manner in which you explore the darker aspects of the story, the characters' natures & their resulting experiences is to be commended. Highly.
  15. Nope Never have I ever administered my own hypodermic injections.

    Chapter 48

I'm with Diego that he might be making a mistake keeping Billy on the case. It's going to be quite doable to get Ashley & Calvin on the merits, and Billy seems to be playing for a mistrial/appeal, which strings the whole thing out for another year. Billy seems to be playing his own game, not Diego's, which is unethical and seems malpractice-adjacent.

    Chapter 5

Well that sure was a gas so fun. And another well written chapter!
  20. “All rise,” The Court Clerk called out. Diego and Billy were the only ones at their table. The boys had school and Steve had work. “You may be seated,” Judge Arthur said, as he took his seat on the bench. “Welcome back, Judge,” Mr. Clarke said. Diego was disgusted at the amount of ass kissing Calvin's lawyer got away with. “Thank you, Mr. Clarke,” the judge said, signing some documents. “Come to find out, it was a false positive.” Damn, Diego thought, fighting hard to no
  21. So the preacher has gone in search of his past, I wonder if he will find Aziel? And if he does, what will he discover?
