    Chapter 5

I am an ardent animal rights supporter and strongly disapprove of the cruel and horrendous practices employed to remove the testicles of young male boars, rams and bulls; however, I do not necessarily disapprove of the same treatment being applied to male humans of any age. Line up Dr. Danbury, Carl and Jordan Turner, and the goons of Carl. It is time to reduce your overinflated egos to a more manageable and acceptable level and erase your toxic masculinity. It won't hurt, just one little snip and all shall be fine. Dr. Danbury should at least be charged with assault given the significant injuries he inflicted on Peter whether intentional or not. He certainly appears to be totally unfit to hold the position of principal of the school. Dr. Douchebag would be a more befitting name. I strongly doubt he is one of the "liberals" who are progressive and have led to Nevada being listed as a "Blue State". It won't surprise me if he is a God-fearin', gun totin', wife beatin', old boy Republican. As a non-American I am repeatedly dismayed and alarmed at the far-right nonsense which spews forth from the mouths of representatives of this party, and that there are those who believe it with the same degree of fervour as religious zealots (it is no coincidence methinks that they are often one and the same). Fucking flat-earth psychos just like Peter's mother, Mary, and her equally asinine brothers. Drama, drama, drama abounded in this chapter @Al Norris. The pace was fast and furious (the franchise is not the genre of films that have any appeal for me, but I have to say that Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker both cause a πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯in the loins of this old carcass). This chapter, although dramatic, was still very believable, it did not descend into soap-opera implausibility. And now it is time for Uncle George to use some of his hitherto hidden wealth to take down those whom have hurt Peter in the present and the past, including the originator of extreme cruelty, the she-devil Mary. Slap that bitch into the middle of next week.

    Chapter 7

Wow! Colin and Jason take Phil out to lunch, and he connects with an old flame. Do I sense a hint of romance in the air?

    Chapter 7

When Jason came to get me for my therapy session the next morning, I was curious how the lunch date with Colin went. However, I wasn’t sure that he knew I was aware of it. I’m not one to play matchmaker, but I was very interested in getting them together. They seemed like a perfect couple. I’m already very fond of Colin. He’s the grandson I never had. He even admitted that he considers me like a grandfather. I’ve known Jason for several months. He’s a hardworking and dedicated trainer. I’ve

    Eighteen

We see Keith and Thomas living happy, non-controversial lives as a couple. The mechanical art work remains the focus of their discussions. It seems it will take a long time through a complicated process to see if is approved to be modernized and fixed up and a long time to actually fix it if approved. Keith finds his mates act normally around him and things seem very even keeled. Life is pleasant.

    Chapter 4

What can I say but that was unbelievable and so well written it took my breath away. I think I need to open a window!
  11. Thank you, centex, and thank you for your kindness in leaving a review. Mendacity is an authentic offering if ever there was one. The world scares me... not for me... but for the generations to come. It also angers me, and the anger is uncomfortable. I'm so glad you felt it, and that it meant something to you. Cheers!
  12. Thanks, Parker. Breathless was my balance for Mendacity. Decisions, yeah. I suppose many of us play the game of 'what if?'. There is no going back, but there is no escaping those swirls of thought either. If only.... Thanks for taking the time to digest these little offerings. Cheers!
  13. Blessings on you too, T. There certainly is the taint of madness in the world, isn't there? What an apt comment. I always try to give hope in my prose, but poetry expresses much that can't have a bow put on it. What pours out can be about beauty and love, but there can also be fear. I've lived a long time, and I've never trusted our gains. In this instance, I hate being right. Thank you, friend, for giving and sharing thought for these offerings. Cheers! G.
  14. Thank you, Chris. I ended up writing a lot of poetry for this anthology. Cheers!
  15. Absolutely it is. I feel the bleakness of the times, and despair at the slide backwards to new and dangerous horizons. Lying, back then, wasn't as commonplace as it is now. Moral compasses have gone wacky and hatred flourishes. Thanks, James. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Cheers! G.
  16. Thanks, tim. Yeah... a lifetime and then some. Cheers!

    Chapter 7

β€œAre being serious with me right now?” Bastion asked, falling into bed and pulling Sage down with him. β€œThe little bird is going up against that,” Sage sighed moving until he felt Bastion’s chest against his back. Even he had a hard time believing such an event was going to occur. He had been right there with Levi when Sune popped in with the highly unusual request. β€œMaybe there is a trick behind those silky feathers that we have yet to see,” Sage yelled as Bastion flipped them over
