  1. Past hour
  2. The poet leads us through the several seasons needed to achieve a wakening. Well-written, you won't want to miss this one; it's a great take on the 'Seasons' theme

    Seventeen

While running the gauntlet called meet the relatives seemed to work just fine, I wonder about Isobel Bonner, might she be a source of funding for the restoration of the 'artwork"??

    Struggle

Whoops almost forgot! I enjoyed this chapter, in particular, immensely. Not just for the peek into the tenuous relationship between T-Man & FireBoy - or the moments of genuine depth & trust displayed between Wyn & his dads - but especially for the new wheels it set in motion. Your set ups are legit next level, man. And the play outs always exceed expectations. Five stars.
  5. What a mess-- Luckily the injured Troy was found and Maddox was not able to rape him as he wanted to do. Jaycen and others took Troy away to be treated. Maddox hid so no one knew he was the guy who hurt Troy. We learned Maddox tried to rape Troy years ago in the showers after a high school swim meet and was stopped by Jaycen. Maddox is a ticking time bomb for both brothers and he will not give up with his devilish plans for them. Lev and Brandon stop after a drive and get gas. Lev says Linda was a social worker who investigated a false claim of child abuse made by a teacher on his male guardians. While nothing wrong was found, she recommened that the boys be taken away and be placed with a straight couple and have no contact with their male guardians. It was so cruel. Brandon felt this did not sound like the mother he knew. He wanted Lev to talk to her and be open to forgive her. He reluctantly agreed to be open to forgiving her. But, they saw a robbery happening at the gas station. Brandon called the sheriff and Lev want to stop the robber and tried to disable the car. A fight ensued between Lev and the robber when he left the store and saw Lev messing this his car. Unfortunately Lev was mistakenly shot in the chest by the store worker. Lev is on the way to the hospital. Will Troy be taken to the same hospital? Everyone might meet and hopefully begin to reconcile as their loved ones recover.
  6. Troy found safely, before the evil Maddox could harm him. Levie shot trying to stop a robbery. You better not hurt Levie.
  7. You do realise @Ticklishboy30 that you can't run or hide from the tickle crew. We will tickle you with the feather until you reveal all.

    Into the Past

This poem seems to be nostalgia-kissed. It had me running in the halls of my elementary school again, seeing the seasonal decorations taped on the walls, perceiving the floor wax, and feeling -- more like scenting -- the heat of my fellow school kids' bodies after we came in again from lunchtime play. Thanks for evoking this in me

    Struggle

Man, so dramatic... And still my Wren languishes in the arms of the wrong reaperman. Hope you enjoy drinking naught but air, my dear Lord of Fish&Shadows. (that's you, boss, just in case you weren't paying attention ) And you're wrong Talon my dude, fixing everything for everyone is Kalian's job & responsibility. Looks like, so far at least & long may it last, my Ama related misgivings were misplaced. I proceed with caution but also hope. Excellently sad chapter! And a very fitting setting-of-the-stage for what is to come. As always.
  10. Hey, all! They replaced 580+ meters of cable for my internet yesterday. No problems since. Hope y'all are well.
  11. An amazing, if challenging, set of four poems not to be missed!

    Run

Despite M's killing the agent, the most positive aspect of this mess is it forced Connor out of the just get by rut his life has been in. He's having to confront his past one piece at a time. No matter what they do, I'm not convinced they can evade this mysterious organization which is after M. They easily found him before. What does Marshall do with his money? Even if he chain smokes and drinks like a fish, there has to be some left over. Even the lowest paid steel worker gets paid decent money.
  13. Still it would be very interesting to 're-discover' one or two of these wrecks!!!

    Seasons

The Columbine poem has left me contemplating it for days. You had me running to a five-min. google search for myths relating to the flower, which proved, yes, there is one relating to this type of flower, and no, I had not heard it because authors like Ovid and Robert Graves did not find it compelling enough to talk about (a point on which I can agree). So, that leaves us with Columbine as a national scar on the American psyche . . . perhaps this watershed moment is what readers are supposed to connect to. The high school massacre was a form of suicide for the murderers too . . . lest we forget, and perhaps I was meant to delay my comments all along, mulling over the poem, until today -- the anniversary of event the NRA piggybacked extremist moneymaking on. Million and million of dollars, and countless lives lost since then because of them. However, a large part of me wishes I did not know your poem came out of an assignment/workshopping effort, because the results are truly amazing. I suppose -- and you should defo not comment on my mind-wanderings, because I'm not asking you to, nor am I in anyway 'expecting an explanation,' as so many out there are when they encounter challenging artistic works -- the poem is a modern exponent of Ovid after all. Transformation in his Metamorphoses is often the result of tragedy and unwanted transitioning from one state to another (usually due to violence as a forced agent of change). But just like many of the Roman's tales of transmogrify, the protagonist in your poem seems to unveil their true selves to us. Perhaps tearing at the veneer is for our eyes only, for the one "feeling different" knows there has been something growing underneath the whole time
  15. I do give myself a medicine via needle once a week. Never have I ever gotten shot by gun.
  16. I'm always a good lad, lol, I don't have time for anything else. I'm good just getting used to a new treatment regime which is tiring.
  17. Your arguments for me to move to France, and become a teacher are valid. "Class, welcome to Innocence 101".
  18. That will depend on close it is to Australia. You seem familiar. That face... that hair... those buns.... Craig! How have you been? Are you being a good lad?
