Crisis, Trouble, and More
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Crisis, Trouble, and More
You have had your share of characters that are easy to dislike or hate but whoa Stephanie just might be worst or perhaps tied with the two pedo's in After The Divorce. After that despicable note she left Karl perhaps she should have been the one declared insane -

What a loss! 🤥 He was someone I could (and did) reach out to when I needed writing advice, and always a true gentleman. He will be missed. -

Comsie’s helped me through some tough times, with his stories and the interactions I had with him. He was one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. He’d always listen and offer advice, or try to bring a little joy to anyone willing to accept it. One of the friendliest guys I’ve ever met. Wherever you are, Comsie, I hope you’re having as much fun and joy as you brought to us. I’ll miss you, my friend. 😢 -

@Ronyx this story, Phil's life story, continues to reveal itself. Like layers of an onion being peeled away, (which explains my tears from time to time). Most of us have heard it said that before you die, "your life passes before your eyes". What Phil sees through the glass is his cavalcade. And perhaps his tiredness at the beginning of this chapter, is more weariness. I saw this 'weariness' in my own grandfather's eyes before he passed decades ago (in a nursing home he disliked); and also reflected in my parents before they passed. I hope Phil is able to rally enough to get into an apartment of his own, perhaps big enough with an extra bedroom for Colin and Jason. If for now better reason than to piss off his own son. 😉

The House at the End of the Road

M is keeping secrets. He must know who the MIB is and what he wants. Connor only thought being gay was challenging. Being gay with a seizure prone boyfriend is a nightmare. -

Letting the minutes go by was nerve wrecking. I was alternating between senseless pacing and leaning against a wall waiting while the minister was staring into the distance. As my phone indicated twenty minutes had passed, I couldn’t hold back any longer. “We can’t just wait here.” Morris-Walker was annoyed at my interruption. “Yes, Jamie, we can. We have nothing to fear from them. They are under the barrier. Feel free to check the rest of the ruin.” The minister resumed his think

It's shocking he died so young, and at the height of his powers as a writer too. A sad day indeed -

I knew he wasn't in the best of health, but I'd assumed he was busy recovering, working on physical therapy, etc. I just...I can't believe he's gone. 😢 The world looks a little less bright without you, Comsie. Rest in peace, my friend. -

What shocking news. Comsie was a legend I found sweet to deal with. Our interactions were few, but you'd have to be a fool not to see the profound impact he had on online writing. His readers were absolutely devoted to him, and one thing I am sure of... he was way too young to leave us. Still, he left one hell of a mark all the same. RIP, Comsie, and my condolences to those who were close to him.
