wow, I kept listening to the carpenters, yesterday once more when they were at the pool and watching tv. Yes, J asumes the lead and K is somehow the less confident one where it comes to his emotions, still not confident of asking J for what he wanted. bittersweet, full of pathos, special, cannot wait for your next story, hope I'll enjoy it as you say it's very different, keep the human drama and the workings of the human heart alive and once again, thankyou. yes, tear down those walls, poignient moments with k and j. so many favourite parts to this story, i have a feeling in a years time, i'm going to come back to this story. wander what you have in mind for your next, along with how different it's going to be, hopefully it's got all the pathos and human drama that this has, thankyou for the chapter, hope there are not too many bumps in the road and you not lulling us in to a false sense of security. I'm going to enjoy the good times while it lasts. On to next chapter. I love how suddenly, J is starting to take charge. previously, when they were at school, it was Kile who took the lead. It show how much for the better J has changed and how selfconfident he's become.

wow, finally, Troy, you're the man, moments in this chapter had me tear up, bitter sweet moments, loved the exchange between J and K about taking responsibility, J more confident and more self assured and bold enough to make the first moves in certain instances. All 4 guys have a great friendship and troy and the rest asuming responsibility was priceless. You have a way of evoking strong feelings among your readers for your characters, thankyou, Mike, maybe you could feature him in your next story

I'm not sure what one of the reviewers refered to where they say that you fore shadowed a dreadful end to this story. either way, i'm in it for the long hall, what ever happens to the guys. thankyou, i havn't got to the 2 chapters yet, so i have 12 to go. ok, so onto the listen to the next few chapters, from all your comments, it seems there's lots of surprises to look forward to. I stopped last week from wher Mat called for his dad and J came through for him, while K was investigating.

wow, it seems that thing are turning. I have not read the chapter but reviews, strange way of doing this. I'm half scared as to what i would find. reading the reviews creates another mystry as to what could be going on. I will wait for more chapters. sounds though, like progress is being made with the 2. Keep writing, great story, you have a great gift, thanks for sharing

i cannot resist, I'm gona go chapter by chapter, as you post. I keep wandering about the murder sceen and why you featured kile at the sceen, is it because you needed to show what a good investigator kile is, or is there more to it and the investigation would affect the lives of Kile's family. i also think about the title, is it aquital from blame in relationships or has it got to do with the investigation, questions questions, am i over thinking this. have you at any point because of the comments thought of changing any part of the story, maybe a different direction you thought of taking the story.

Jacob could not remmember neither could David, yes, they were in the same bed but they could have both been too drunk to have done anything, it's true, however, for me, there is a sense that to a certain extent, Kile forgave him for what may or may not have happend. How often do we not, even among our mates, think that they ought to behave a certain way, and when they don't, we become insensed, it is about building rather than distroying relationships, perhaps if Kile makes Jacob feel that he is needed, it would partly help to mend things between them, that as well as Mat, their friends, along with the x factor, a randem incident well thought out. I don't believe it's just the mistake that's only a factor but their baggage that each of them carry not only about the other but about themselves. It would be too easy for them to fall into each other's arms and go through the facard of loving. there's too much they need to work through because even if they got together in the next chapter, would their relationship last, i suspect not as there are far too many layers to each other they don't even know about, to a certain extent, experiences have changed them to a certain extent. i'm debating weather i should wait for you to complete this and binje listen, or go chapter by chapter, when it appears. it gets better and better. so many fav sceens, Jacob and mat, all the sceens, Kile and his dad, Troy going all out despite him having a wife 2kids and another on the way being there for his bros, it was inevitable that Kile leftt but great that he left Mat with his grandad and Jacob. As for either team, J or K, doesn't matter. to those who criticize Jacob, remmember that he already was on the backfoot, besides the abuse and what was said previously about his dependance on Kile, his dependance on alcohol and selfblame and his feeling he'd be bad for kile, added to that his guiltt kept him away. I don't believe that Jacob is selfrightious. these are 2 scared and damaged people who don't necessarily always do the right things, how often have we not been in situations where, deep down we know what the right thing to do is but for what ever reason continue making the same mistakes. finally, question, does kile's job, the murder have anything to do with what's happening in Kile's life and with Jacob, the aquital, am I reading too much into this. also your describtion of the murder sceen leaves me wandering weather there is a connection, just a thought

couldn't help going over the sceen again between J and K. The key could be Mat who could bring the 2 together and a situation in which J is able to come to K's rescue, ie. J feeling needed. you show a debth of knowledge of the human heart and insite into human fraelties. the flaws that these 2 have are complex and overcomming the hurdles, if they do, is a true test in strengthening their relationship, each being strong in themselves and for each other. looking forward to more chapters and other stories from you, thankyou

gutwrenching, the conversation between J and K, but necessary. It's not going to be easy, each of them, J and K have a load full of guilt, stress issues, and, for now, an inability to forgive each other or themselves. not just, the incident, but the wasted years and the fact that each condemed the other to years of loneliness. I tore up at the sceen between J and K but sometimes something happens totally disconnected from their past that could bring them together, eg. K whose in a tight spot and J comming to the rescue. I agree with one of the reviews that J does not completely understand K's inability to handle stress and the panic attack. I don't necessarily think that K is totally selfabsorbed. I can see both sides of the situation but hope in time, lots more experiences and a little help from friends, they get their happy ending. please keep those chapters comming.

All that needed to be said on who should have done what was said. No, it's not going to be easy. I'm thinking about Jacob's alcoholism, are the pressures he's experiencing now that Kyle's back not going to drive him to the bottle. Kyle and Jacob comming together does not resolve their major issues ie. Kyle dealing with stress and Jacob and how he deals with his lack of self confidence and feelings of worthlessness.
