    Chapter 11

I'm a bit confused about pictures of New York being attached to this chapter.
  4. Happy Birthday Stefan, I hope you have an amazing day and a super year :)

  5. Great chapter with absolutely no cliffhangers Tell me that again and I just might believe it same as I believe that Uluru/Ayers Rock is not close to Alice Springs. Having driven through half of Oz in a Toyota Corolla some 15 years ago (15K+ km in just under 5 weeks) those 200 miles are nothing compared to other distances down under. You'd drive that in 3 hours, no probs.
  6. Ballmail. Ouch. But it seems to have been effective. Definitely looks like we are on the home stretch, with plans being made for the future now.
  7. This one is indeed nowhere near a cliff. Strange. But then, cliffs in one-shots are somehow counterproductive With regards to verbosity I very much prefer 12000 over 2000 words, so spot on.
  8. Looking forward to read more. You are evil to leave us hanging on a cliff
  9. Nice, very nice. The story raised more questions than it answered, though. I believe this would be a perfect start for a long multi-chapter tale ;-)
  10. Quite good so far. Something for future revisions/rework would have to be that the first six chapters are written from 1st person perspective, from chapter 7 on it suddenly changes to 3rd person. It does make sense to tell the story from Charlie's point of view, but then you would obviously run into problems when writing about the private interaction between Captain and Meena on the boat, to which Charlie is not an observer. I would think the easiest solution would be to rewrite the first 6 chapters in 3rd person.
  11. Neither is Italy btw. And the proposed European Union Law which is supposed to replace the Athens Convention in Europe will not become law until mid 2013 earliest. The Athens Convention limits the liability for death or personal injury per passenger at SDR 46.666 (roughly € 55.100 or US$ 72.250) "unless the carrier acted with intent to cause such damage, or recklessly and with knowledge that such damage would probably result" - see: http://www.imo.org/A...-%28PAL%29.aspx And I would surely classify the captain's behaviour as reckless.
  12. Happy Birthday my Friend, I hope you have a FANTASTIC day and a GREAT year :)

  13. Happy Birthday Guy,

I hope you have a GREAT day.
