  1. Another must read by MrsG. If you read that the story is about brother-in-laws falling in love, you might scroll right by. Don't. It is about so much more than that. This is a well developed story with great characters, real emotions, deep love, and amazing writing. The emotions of real life are so believable you can't help but attach yourself to the story. And like her other stories, the characters are so real, you want them to have their own stories.
  2. I've been thinking, what is my favorite part of the chapter and I don't know. Seeing Perry coaching Henry and Noah was pretty sweet. We know he wanted that so bad. Then again, seeing Kyan find success with his bedding made me feel good because I know he feels good. He's doing this for him. Everything in this chapter felt good. I love the Dayna day. I think it's a great concept and a really sweet way to keep the positive things about her alive. I agree certain things are age appropriate but I do hope that one day, down the road, Perry will share the truth about his relationship with Dayna. Not to make the kids feel bad, but it's important that they know Perry's truth since he will be their parent. There is no perfect person. I also think it was sweet to see the kids like things that Dayna like. A little piece of her passed on to them. And I love the proposal. Sweet Gracie throwing things into chaos. Perry took in in stride which says so much about his character. He has been steadfast in his calmness. He studied the ring, figuring out how to move forward. I thought the scene was fitting for them. No fuss. A simple commitment of forever.
  3. This was a great final chapter. MrsG you did a great job of bringing everything together. Kyan has it all. Perry has it all. The kids have it all. Max WILL have it all as soon as he and Reid share a room. Or maybe Max is right and they show up to find the reservation was screwed up and he and Reid share a bed. No more neat and clean Max...
  4. If I'm honest, I don't think his parents deserve to come in a ruin things. Not just that but I don't think it's in their nature. From what we've read so far it seems like they would be happy to fade into the darkness and that is what I hope they do. I think his parents are the reason he 1) moved to Oregon. 2) jumped into things with Dayna. 3) is such a great dad. 4) is breaking generational dysfunction. That is where their contribution should stop lol
  5. If Gracie isn't a combat boot wearing flower girl with a princess dress and cowboy hat (or astronaut helmet) then I don't want to see their wedding.
  6. I'm not crying. you're crying!! Poor Ava was carrying around a burden and no one even knew. Wrap that girl in a hug.
  7. I LAUGHED! Perry missed out on years of giving his little sister a hard time. Gracie is the next best thing. I don't for one minute think he was doing it out of spite for Dayna, but it made me smile anyway. Gracie's sass is top tier. You can stay until then. I guess. bahahahahaha
  8. I absolutely love that Jed brought an old sewing machine over to Kyan's house LOL. Jed gives off the good ol boys vibe and yet you threw us for a loop with that one. I think it's great that Jed is the one who is pushing things with Kyan. It has to be difficult for Kyan to accept the love of a father, but deep down he is probably so grateful Jed keeps coming back. Jed and his zipper pulls. Jed not minding his own business lol. It's a bummer he's character is blossoming at the end of the story. Maybe Dayna and Gracie take after him?
  9. I have also wanted Sven to come out. My heart broke for him when he got rejected by Loren. I just don't think it's Max. He and Max have similar personalities. I imagine both of them with someone more stoic. Them together would be chaos.
  10. This is what I'm saying!!! It's perfect. DOOOO ITTT
  11. Where do I sign up for that?
  12. This was a fun chapter! Max really came out with the gloves swinging. If or one think ReMax is a thing. The fight was a smoke show if I ever saw one. Max is bossy AF which I love but Reid left on his own free will. This is the posturing of someone speaking to a boss. It is almost cocky. There is something here and you cannot convince me otherwise. You haven't done a true enemies to lover and I think this is it. I'm begging. Make this happen. We only saw a glimpse but it's enough for us to want a lot more. If you want my opinion, I think Reid is the top/dominant/alpha personality, but he lets Max think he's in charge, but behind closed doors...
  13. When love is able to thrive!!! This gives me hope that Kyan is able to grow in ways he wasn't before. One of the best quotes to date. You nailed this one.
  14. 💯💯💯💯
  15. This is my favorite part of your stories, when we see how you weave the story into it's ending. I feel confident that we are now past the difficult parts and their future will begin to take shape. Beautifully written. The sweetest part for me was Kyan letting Noah know that no one can treat him like that, and that Kyan has his back. Him doing that is telling Perry the same thing. I SEE YOU. YOU ARE WORTH STANDING UP FOR. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUT YOURSELF DOWN FOR SOMEONE ELSES HAPPINESS. The last one being a message Perry needs hammered into his sweet little heart. Now...TELL KYAN YOU LOVE HIM!
