  1. I've gotten compliments on the adventures of a makeup-wearing adolescent rasputin who throws drug parties for his classmates, so.... you're bound to get a following with whatever you have.
  2. I love this list I'm writing something at the moment and I'm keeping all of these things in mind. So far, there'll be 1 with terrible consequences, most of 2 but it won't be effortless, partial 3, 4 I haven't gotten to yet, but it makes for a better story in my case. 5 will remain, 6 will be severe, 7 will be amusing, no 8 or 9 at all, and only time will tell for 10.
  3. I'd love to add a chapter, just let me know where there's an opening.
  4. I've just been thinking about the various paths the protagonist could take in this story after reading the Sneak Preview. I assume that if he should become involved with the Mistress' 'boy-concubine'- for lack of a better term- the two of them would be hiding out from her wrath and possible hit men (maybe some of the same ones we've seen go after Justin in GFD as another possible tie-in?). He would also be attempting to piece together his memory, perhaps by seeking out vampires whose extras could help him unlock his mind (potential for another visit to Divinity, she's a favorite of mine). Anyway, I'm just throwing out ideas as they occur to me. Then there's the possible path of his struggle to return to his routine and going back out on missions. Unlocking his memory could just be incidental as he spends more time in the field. I'm seeing lots of inconvenient hallucinatory episodes and panic attacks a la Wolverine in X-Men. Just a thought. Anyway those are just some possible directions I gleaned from the preview, I'm ready to adapt to whatever takes off after the next couple of chapters. I'd like to add one, I have a couple of ideas for bit characters as well.

  6. completely letting go in public. something my friends always try to pressure me to do, which usually means wearing hotpants and posing as a woman to go on a tour of Barnard, but they have been loosening me up bit by bit for a while. also, alienating my friends by becoming emotionally abusive. something that has gotten me in trouble before.
  7. I agree with you Green, it's not something I can see myself sitting through. I can also relate with feeling like the only one to hate a movie, as was the case with me and Rent. Good gay movie: Party Monster
  8. I don't know, I'm generally in favor of dramatic posing followed by one liners.
  9. Well, though this is not my favorite quote from Female Trouble, it is the only good one tame enough for the boards (we're talking early John Waters here, before the MPAA had a say). Aunt Ida: "The world of the heterosexual is a sick and boring life." Another very quotable loosely drag-based demographic; the club kids. Here's a gem from Party Monster. James St. James: "Oh darling, half the fun of eating meat is hacking it up!" Those of you familiar with me probably expected some more Last Words. Well, enjoy! "Show my head to the people, it is worth seeing."
  10. Baby steps, we were founded by Puritans.
  11. I'd say wait until the finished product, but release the chapters gradually so the buzz is still there. After all, a blitzkrieg of 30 chapters posted at once can be overwhelming for readers.
  12. I do that a lot when I'm watching TV. Sometimes, if what I'm predicting is a good ending, I'll be glad to be right, and doubly so if an extra twist is thrown in that I did not foresee. However, if I'm wrong and it turns out to be a weak ending, I an somewhat dissapointed.
  13. Question #7: If you were already comitted to someone special, and one day found someone else who seemed to be an even better 'match'...would you stay with your partner, or attempt to go for another relationship?
  14. Question #6: What are you looking for in terms of finding that special somebody?
  15. Question #5: If you're involved in a real life relationship with someone, and fall for someone you only know online...do you consider it being unfaithful?
