  1. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 99

April 25, 2004 The Pacific Coast Highway Pacific Palisades, CA Will “Nice that traffic is light,” Travis said. “I’m usually fighting it going the other way.” It was 8:00 in the morning, and we were heading to Malibu so Travis and I could get situated, and so we could surf. “That’s because it’s Sunday, dipshit,” I said, giving him crap. “Whatever,” he said, which made Stef smirk because he’d said it just like I did. “I am wondering how you are planning t

    Chapter 95

April 21, 2004 Escorial Palo Alto, CA Will I opened the door to find my father there with Jake behind him, as if he were Jake’s human shield. “Welcome home,” Dad said, and embraced me warmly. I thought it was nice that he’d taken off his tie and shed his jacket, as if to announce that he was no longer Mr. Corporate America. “I missed you,” I said warmly. Dad looked at Travis, then at Jake, then back at Travis, pretty much just like I had, then finally kicked h
  3. Studies indicate that 99 out of 100 "studies" say exactly what whoever financed it wanted it to say.

  4. Hey, Craig. Yeah, I suppose it is frightening how quickly his fears escalated. Being in that crowd of people definitely wound Jubal up. If we go all the way back to when he first saw Bearpaw in the dark, we could practically taste his fear of God-fearing folk, so the fact he stuck around and did answer some questions shows how he is trying to manage his fears. That tension, though, it had a life of its own... ebbing and flowing with neither man able to keep it contained. I would say Jubal isn't the only one with fears, and Lucas's shortness with him showed that. You're right that any conversation could go either way with Jubal feeling the way he does, and with Lucas starting to push things, unlike he did before. I'm not a cruel man, but I did like that you were drawn in by this one. It was meant to be uncomfortable for all of us, and I think I might have hit the mark. Cheers and thank you, my friend.

Poor Ian. It’s hard to have so many expectations at just five years of age. He may have the smarts, but he doesn’t have the maturity yet, as witnessed b6 his meltdown about learning the technicalities of the language of music. I don’t quite get the determination to make Gaea like Earth II. Things had gone so wrong there, I would think they would want a completely fresh start. Name your cities and locations after places on Earth I. That’s fine. But make a break and make a new society with more care for each other and the world on which you are now living!
  6. July 12, 1801 Brentwood, UK Granger peeked into the drawing room and saw his father sitting on a chair while his mother relaxed on a chaise, both of them looking quite relaxed as they chatted away. He had invited his parents to come spend a week with him here at Brentwood, and it had turned out to be a good decision. His father had been working with William, Matheus, and Michael, training the three of them on the manners, etiquette, and physical gestures like bowing they woul
  7. The only reason I got through Love By Chance is because the offending scene happened at the end of the series. Love In The Air’s offending scenes took place right away. I’m 99% sure TharnType will be unwatchable.
  8. Head Waters, Virginia -- population 88 in the 2020 census.

    Chapter 97

April 24, 2004 The Beverly Hills Hotel Beverly Hills, CA Will “Waves rocked today!” Travis said, and high fived me. We’d gotten down here in time to spend a couple of hours in the water and still make it to the hotel and get ready for the big party tonight. We were sitting in Grand and Stef’s suite, enjoying some pre-dinner cocktails. “Makes me remember what I liked best about living down here,” Dad said. He impulsively looked down at his Blackberry and freaked out.

    Chapter 9

I think I remember 95% of them weren't even actors. Kuntergrau ended me. Not every story has to have a happily ever after, but the series just floored me at the end. What the f***. I appreciate your actor choices though.

    Chapter 6

St. Vincent's illness must be short-lived. I believe he replaces Spencer as First Lord in a couple of years. He had an extraordinarily long lifespan for this time, dying at 88.
  12. Excuse but of the two of us who's French? What I sad about frogs being non existants on 95% of the menus of French restaurants is true. what I said about cat meat in kebab is also true. A team from the health and safety department ran analysis on mest from a kebab place in Paris and those analysis reveals the meat was partially made of cat. The meat had been imported from Eastern Europe

    Chapter 20

Time for perspective. 99% of indigenous tribes (across North America) cut off 'support payments, medical coverage etc. to 'non-native' spouses when tribal partner dies. This was done 50+ years ago to protect 'limited resources' tribes had at that time. HOWEVER, since 1979 'Seminole Tribes Inc'. and their 'gaming enterprises' (they own 6 of 7 major Fla casino operations), have seen explosive growth in their income. They have net holdings in excess of $10 BILLION (bn), and $2.5bn in net annual income. - - - Was Martina wrong? Yes, especially if Charlotte's money did not provide an annual income and benefits for Martina as manager / director of the refuge, which it should have (by law).
  14. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 88

April 9, 2004 Aboard the Tonto The Mediterranean Sea Will “This would be better if it were summer,” Travis said, as we got out of the water. The Tonto had paused her progress to allow us to ride the jet skis around, but the waves had started to pick up, and we had places to go, so after an hour, we’d hauled them back aboard. “Pussy,” I accused. “This is way warmer than the Pacific.” “Whatever,” he grumbled, then smiled. “Time to hot tub.” I was
  15. Clo, it would probably shock you how often Drew and I actually agree. We agree probably 99% of the time.
  16. That’s the big secret, men have been, some more than others, finding relief since the dawn of time. Their main concern is simply privacy. The appearance of being different is a big concern, but when they really feel like nobody will know 95% will do it. The rest just live in fear of it. These men absolutely are not gay. They love women they love vagina, but mostly they love to cum. I am going against the bro code by explaining this. Watching the way the media and peer pressure is today, someone has to step in with a dose of reality. Yes there has always been gay people, but just because you do some gay shit once in a while doesn’t make you gay.
  17. 4th June 1991: Well, last night was eventful. It was everything I could've possibly imagined. I mean, last night was perfect; the movies we decided to watch, the junk food we snacked on. We decided to pull out and play a game of cards after we grew tired of watching VHS tapes. The entire evening was magical, if I do say so myself. I felt like there was this weird unspoken vibe in the room. It was incredible; Ross and I more or less hung out. It didn't feel all that different compared to whe

Dentists tend to get a bad rap, but they are essential for keeping us and our communities healthy. Old Job Dentistry is one of the oldest medical specialization. Oral health has always been a source of trouble for people and a subject matter of great interest to physicians throughout human history. The first dentist in recorded history - Hesy Ra - is thought to have lived and practiced his dentistry in Egypt around 2600 BCE. Barbers as Dentists Before dentistry became an organized professional branch of medicine, barbers were part-time dentists, usually entrusted with the unsavory job of extracting teeth. Modern dentistry emerged during the late 17th century, though the lack of anesthesia and sophisticated equipment made going to the dentist a painful proposition. Today, dentists are an important part of any country's medical and health system. In addition to caring for people with tooth problems, dentists also perform surgeries to correct misaligned teeth and other problems affecting the jaw and the oral cavity. How to Celebrate? If you haven’t been to see your dentist in a while, use this day to make an appointment with them. Thank your dentist by sending them a thank you note or maybe some home baked goods – just make sure there isn’t too much sugar in them. Did You Know… …that the world's first dental school was opened by Dr. John M. Harris in Bainbridge, Ohio, on February 21, 1828? *** While I was serving as a juror, I chanced to share the elevator one morning with a visiting judge. He asked me where the jurors parked, and I informed him that we had our own lot several blocks away. Then it occurred to me that he might be having a problem finding a place for his car, so I continued, "but, Your Honor, they have a special place reserved for judges down below." "Yes," he said dryly, "I'm sure they do." *** Phil was driving down a country road late one night when he felt a big thud. He got out of the car and looked around, but the road was empty. Since there was nothing else to be done, Phil drove on home. In the morning the sheriff was standing at his doorstep. "You're under arrest for hitting a pig and leaving the scene," the lawman told him with a frown. "Please come with me." Phil couldn't believe his ears. "But how could you possibly know that's what happened?" he asked. "It wasn't hard," the sheriff replied. "The pig squealed." *** One afternoon I was walking on a trail with my newborn daughter, chatting to her about the scenery. When a man and his dog approached, I leaned into the baby carriage and said, "See the doggy?" Suddenly I felt a little silly talking to my baby as if she understood me. But just as the man passed, I noticed he reached down, patted his dog and said, "See the baby?" *** My Dad's favorite joke is indelible: Joe is a new man on a construction crew. The first day on the job, he opens his lunch box and mumbles, “Oh no, peanut butter!” The next day, “Peanut butter again!” This goes on for days, until another worker says, “Why don’t you ask your wife to make a different lunch?” Joe replies, “I’m not married. I make my own lunch.” Whether or not anyone else laughed, Dad certainly did. *** *** *** *** *** Which is why you should always keep your towel handy, I know I do. *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** Meanwhile...in Japan *** *** *** *** *** sandrewn
  19. Needless to say, Diego was less than thrilled with Bryan; however, he felt it was largely his fault for not being clear with the boys what their behavior could mean. He was proud of Bryan for at least coming forward and admitting what he did and was willing to accept full responsibility for his actions. In the end, Diego decided that Steve was right, and Bryan would not be grounded. For the rest of the afternoon, Steve handled damage control, while Diego worked. First, he called Billy, who
  20. Liam dumped the laundry basket down on his bed. He’d have to empty it and his jeans were only just covering his underpants but Ed would see his underpants. He could just grab all his clothes and shove them into his wardrobe though Ed would think he was crazy. Ed dropped down onto Liam’s bed, next to the laundry basket. “Hurry up and we can go and watch TV,” Ed said. “Is there anything on?” “I don’t know. If its shit, you can read your book.” “Okay.” He’d have to be

Thank you. I've thought about and worked out a lot about Liam and Ed's relationship. I want to show them navigating their way around their relationship, they are only 15 and 14. They are both very damaged souls, look what Ed did to survive at school, but they also care about each other.

    Chapter 40

I'm someone who hates it when people buys me things. Often, I'm subjected to things that other people think I might like, solely based on their own, personal likes, which bomb 99% of the time. I have a friend who was raised poor and is dating a very well-off man. She's been fending for herself most of her life, and his solution to everything is to throw money at it. So, Kenny's reaction is a mix of mine and my friend's reactions to people spending money on us. Kenny's words about being erased and replaced are visceral. He's had to struggle to feel accepted as he is his whole life. He's been teased and bullied for being poor and in special education, which happened to me a lot growing up. He's accepted his station in life, but is soon faced with a situation that would change all of that (at least his financial status). Kenny quickly fell into an identity crisis and became overwhelmed, verbally spewing his the feelings he usually keeps to himself. Luckily, Bryan was there to help put things into perspective and keep Kenny from spiraling. I didn't intend to hit people in the feels with Kenny's line. In fact, I kind of assumed people who get it on their own. I am happy that it did have an emotional impact, though, as that's a sign of reaching people's empathy, which I think most writers should aim for.
  23. Wow. Heavy, as we used to say in the 70s and 80s.
