Adlai Ben Yusuf the son of a humble carpenter, grew up in the village of Nazareth in the troubled land called Palestine. With with his brother Tavi and cousin Cephas he enjoyed the usual escapades and misadventures of a normal teenage boy. Whereas Adlai was scholarly and introspective his brother Tavi was an extrovert. He was a warrior, an adventurer and a womaniser; trouble followed him relentlessly. Being popular and well-loved, he was his father Yusuf''s favourite. Then suddenly a simple mistake occurred which was to have tragic and far-reaching consequences; consequences that have endured to the present day.

Rumors of a traveling doctor spread like wildfire throughout Bosefestung, and Arden Grey finds it harder to maintain a humble presence. He gains the attention of the Templar and Mages Hall, half the nobles in the city, the city-state's Guard-Captain, and the city's Underground. Unluckily, there are also responsibilities to be seen to, and the jackal headed god of the underworld has never been very good at denying himself what he really wants.

When Horus and his family leave the city of the Gods to travel up the Nile, Anubis resigns himself to being bored without the company of his oldest friend. He does not however plan on being awoken in the pitch black to discover that the sun has been accidentally sealed into a temple, and that he is the only one qualified to retrieve it. If only such quests were simple.

His soul was not his own, and whoever made it wanted it back. How could he just give something like that back?

Raised in a strict life that he never really questioned, realizes he can't.

When Ashran jumps off a cliff to save himself from ritual sacrifice, he meets The God Nergal and finds himself. And Nergal, well... A god does have to fulfil his role, doesn't he?

This is a multi-chapter sci-fi story primarily about 11 to 18 year-olds, though some chapters deal with adults. There is sexual exploration, graphic descriptions of violence, religious themes, and the development of a master-slave relationship. There is bit of sex, but nothing too graphic.
