This story was written as an addition to the Sanitaria Springs series of stories. Those are stories written by Dabeagle and other authors who he invited to contribute. They are about events in the lives of several teen boys who live in the fictional town of Sanitaria Springs in New York State. The stories are interwoven and this particular story picks up on a character first met in a story titled 'Without A Trace.'

I do not think it is essential to read that story before reading this tale as I believe there is sufficient 'back story' here to enable this one to stand alone, but feel free to do so.

Erik is at home when he discovers something under the bed that reminds him of the one he loves.

Five schools in three years and Toni has one more chance if he wants to stay out of military school. Maybe this time he can stay out of trouble long enough to graduate. If only he could stop thinking about the overly-friendly King of Jocks that seems intent on making friends with the new guy. Kevin and Gary discovered each other while playing baseball for Long River High School. In their last two years of high school, they had a very intense relationship, planning a life together. Upon graduation, contact was lost as they went separate ways: one to university and the other to the US Army. What follows is what happens when their paths finally cross forty years later.

This is the story about the friendship between a gay hipster and a straight male hooker. This is a story about bonding and intimacy, about opening up and shutting down, about everything that sneaks in somewhere amongst love and lust.

The story of a lonely young man. He has no family left but hopefully can find love.

When Mike’s 47 year old cousin (also his best friend) dies he realizes he must make major changes in his lifestyle or his own funeral could be soon. A self-imposed journey to improve himself both physically and emotionally leads him to discover the Mike he has been repressing for years and he comes to terms with life as a gay man.
