These events weigh lightly on the mind of Will Schluter. He just graduated from high school a semester early and is looking forward to spending the next eight months in the pursuit of hedonistic pleasure and mind broadening experiences.

Neither Will nor his country had any idea about the challenges that lurked ahead.

This is the second story in the Wearing Green on Thursday series. Bruce Hutton has graduated from high school, gone on a road trip, loved and lost his best friend, and is now an engineering student at Stanford University outside Palo Alto, California. We follow his life and loves as he becomes comfortable living as a gay man in the 1980s.

Following the loss of his boyfriend in a tragic accident, Rich is left in a state of limbo, unable to process or control his emotions. In this story, we meet Bruce, who is a championship swimmer, and learn of his struggles with his sexuality. We are introduced to his best friend, Craig, with whom Bruce will have the pleasure of exploring gay sex.
