A vampire teacher with advanced knowledge of the vampire scriptures and what their significance is in darkness is suddenly partnered up with a young newblood who has an extra that allows him to decode ancient texts at will. However...when the Elders find out about this ability, they target the boy for execution! What are they hiding? And can the teacher help him figure out the hidden message before the Elders find them and eliminate the threat?
This is an autobiographic story. It goes back to 2014 and is still in development. The main character, Clyde, meets an alternative boy and there builds more and more tension between them.
Some details are changed and the names of the characters have been made up.
Clyde is a transgender male (female to male). He had chest surgery and he got his ovaries and womb removed. He can't get pregnant. He hasn't had bottom surgery (yet). This means he has female genetalia. His clitoris has grown due to the use of testosteron. He looks masculine and by no means people would suspect that Clyde was physical female at birth.
"The child lay in his bed, curled up into a fetal position as he stared at the door across from him. It wasn't a door. It was a giant flab of flesh, glowing like when you put a flashlight under your hand, and breathing like a lung. It breathed slowly, filling with air and then flattening out. Then it breathed again. The boy was too scared to close his eyes, so he stared at the door that never left his room. It had been there for months. Haunting the child. Traumatizing him."
When a father's son goes missing, he has to venture into a world of nonsense and horror to bring him back.
This is a collection of short stories I've previously posted on this site. I'm slowly moving them to one place and deleting them as separate entries. I'll also be adding new stories as they're finished.
I realize I'll unfortunately lose some readers' reactions and comments on my older stories, but the move should make my writing easier to find. It's also what the site editors suggest.
This collection parallels the collection of my short non-fiction in this site -- Collections.
