Really, really enjoyed this story! It pushes all the right buttons for me: paranormal, mental health and relationships. So plotwise the was excellent and in terms of prose it was a joy to read as well. The characters were also well-developed, but perhaps I would like to see some more character development with Cassie? But that is a minor 'complaint'; this is I understand the first Volume of the story, and I eagerly await the next chapters, because I was truly gripped by the story with its Stephen King references, superb main characters and jumping time lines.
