Although, there were eight poems in the original publication between your first posting and this, it seems to me they go together well - the emotional frustration in the former leading to the emotional explosion in the second (and third).

Thank you, Jon. I suppose you are referring to the complete works of Robert Jentzsch's poetry from which I sourced my selections to translate. It's true, I did not elect to translate everything, and in fact made a rather personal gathering. First and foremost, I looked for poems that spoke about same-sex love, and then I went for other poems that seem striking examples of Expressionistic style. There is a lot in Jentzsch's "Drama" collection suggesting both of these to me
