The Great Mirror of Same-Sex Love - Poetry - 87. ...love is two sides of a mountain...

.

Universe

The rock

a dove

a part of me.

Love is two rocks

on different sides

of the mountain.

Sometimes I just like

being with a friend

sharing silence.

A few sprinkles of water

a few trees

some blackbirds nesting

And me

in each sprinkle, in each tree

in every blackbird.

2010

This is an enchanted poem. I’m listening to birds and zephyrs in the mist.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Parker. I think it's a great poem

This is a peaceful and warming poem.  It captures a moment of love in observing silence.

Thank you, Terry. I totally agree. All the more remarkable for Spoon Jackson as he's serving a life term in the California penal system.

I've posted another poem from an incarcerated person as the next chapter. Please check it out
