Lorca's "Ode to Walt Whitman" 20. Verse

There are currently no reviews.
Genres: Poetry
A great panoply of Pride, Federico García Lorca's Oda a Walt Whitman has never been properly translated into English. Here for the first time is the work in the spirit in which this tremendous Gay artist created it a reclaiming of turf; a pronouncement that we have always been here, and are not going away; a celebration of our diversity. Coming from a man who was to be killed for his orientation 9 years after this poem's publication, nothing could be more impactful for the LGBT+ Community today.

This poem celebrates Us through the auspices of not one great Gay poet, but two!
